Discover this traditional Portuguese 3 bedroom house on "Rua do Saco," Albufeira. Casa do Peixe Azul is located in the historic centre, on a quiet residential street, within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and the Fisherman's Beach. The outstanding feature is the private terrace with 360 degree views of downtown Albufeira and the Atlantic Ocean - perfect for admiring the sunrise, relaxing or enjoying outdoor meals.



The fully equipped kitchen joins the living area, and a games room provides entertainment with table football, books and games. The house has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms: a master suite with sea views, a bedroom with a double bed and another with two single beds. Warning: the house has 4 flights of stairs.

The view from the top floor bedroom and rooftop patio is a highlight. Only minor issue was that the internet was spotty, but I understand that’s common for the area.

Myself and two friends had a great short stay at this accommodation. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing and it was our favourite place to sit and relax. There are countless bars and restaurants within walking distance. The host was very responsive and kindly allowed us a slightly earlier check in. The airport transfers arranged by the host were reliable and saved me risking ordering an Uber at the time...We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We loved our stay at fish house! The Home Holidays team were very helpful and responsive to our questions, so check in was a breeze. The flat was lovely! Clean but inviting, in a secluded residential street so it was quiet at night. It is also only a few streets away from the main bar and restaurant streets, and the beach, so you dont have to walk far at all to find lots to do. the apartment is at the top of the small hill and has a rooftop terrace which was wonderful! amazing views of the ocean and surrounding areas, and the perfect place to sunbathe with a breeze. Would definitely stay there again!

I stayed with 2 friends for a few days at this beautiful house. It's in an excellent location in Albufeira, steps away from the beautiful Old Town, beach walks, lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops. Grocery shops are a bit further away but you can get delivery via Uber Eats if needed. The staff were very responsive and helpful with issues, and the guidance materials are very thorough and well-presented.

Perfect accommodation right in the heart of Albufeira

Perfect accommodation right in the heart of Albufeira. We absolutely loved the roof terrace and the rest of the house was also fantastic! The house is at the top of the hill so the views are amazing from the terrace and we got fit walking up the slopes when walking back from the town centre. The communication with Home Holidays was very impressive, they also sent a PDF with clear instructions on how to find the accommodation. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms, reliable WiFi, nice big fridge in the kitchen, 6 toilet rolls provided for 3 night stay which was super helpful, sea views, short walk into town. Would recommend!

We had an amazing stay in Albufeira, Portugal! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach and close to many great restaurants. As a group of four women, we felt completely safe throughout our stay, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t have asked for more. A solid 10/10 – highly recommend!

Great apartment in the heart of Albufeira! Short walk to the many restaurants, bars and beaches. We loved the rooftop patio, and its view was stunning! We appreciated the amenities. Rooms were on the smaller side, with no room for dressers. Master did have a small dresser and closet in the hallway. Beds were very comfortable. We wish we had booked it for longer!

The view from the roof terrace was excellent. Narrow steep staircase getting our luggage to the rooms. Bedrooms and bathrooms are small. The seal at the bottom of the shower glass and shower floor was broken. Water leaked all over the bathroom floor. Asked for extra towels however none were delivered before we left. For some reason there was a sewer like smell at the kitchen sink, other than that, our stay was relaxing.

The house is in a quiet no through road and yet very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. It is easy to walk around but there are slopes and steps. If you have a pushchair as we did there are no step routes to all the amenities which was great. Inside the house is as described and the kitchen does have a washing machine which isn’t listed in the amenities provided. The view from the roof terrace is fabulous. We had a great week with three generations and would highly recommend to other guests.

We had a wonderful stay, from start to finish the communication was amazing and quick to get back to us with any query even if it was late at night, check in was easy. The property was really nice and the added touches of tea, coffee etc and washing up stuff was also a lovely add on that we weren’t expecting and helped with the fact we didn’t need to rush to get the shopping, we could just relax after a early flight, also allowing us to store bags in property before check in, helped so that we didn’t need to carry them around. We had a maintenance issue and this was sorted straightaway without any hesitation. All who I spoke with were friendly and the whole process was very easy. We will definitely be looking to book with home holidays again. Very positive throughout thank you x .

A fantastic apartment, spread over 4 floors. Views from the rooftop terrace were amazing. All bedrooms had plenty of storage and the kitchen well equipped. Obviously having the views means you are on a hill and it was steep stepped walk down into the town, however this only took about 7 minutes. The only small thing that 6 of us didn’t like was there was only 1 key and a lock box outside the door. If you locked the door when you returned home the next person had to knock as you can’t lock the door and put the key in the lock box
