Great Villa with Trulli and outstanding private pool in Valle d'Itria Puglia

In the heart of Valle d’Itria, halfway between the Ionian and Adriatic coasts lies The Do.Do House, an ancient complex of trulli which has been lovingly transformed into a luxurious villa. Set in a large lawned area, it is surrounded by the beautiful dry-stone walls that characterise the area.
The 180 sqm villa boasts three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, a large living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen-diner and a laundry. The whole house can be heated or cooled via an underfloor air-conditioning system and has a good Wi-Fi internet connection and TV. Our guests can also make use of the barbecue area in the garden and enclosed parking, while the house is equipped with the standard washing machine and dryer, microwave, hairdryer and ironing facilities that you would expect to make your stay as stress-free as possible. The house can sleep 8 people comfortably with the possibility of adding a ninth, on a pull-out chair bed.
Entering the house from the large outdoor veranda, you find yourself in the spacious, elegant entrance hall, which is home to a sofa and TV as well as a dining nook. Next door is the kitchen, equipped with everything you need for your stay, while an opening leads to the main living area in the trulli. Furnished with soft sofas and armchairs, this cool and refreshing space in the summer also has a functioning fireplace for the colder months.
The sleeping quarters lead off the living area and consist of a family bathroom and 3 large, comfortable bedrooms, two of which have their own en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a large king-sized bed, a pull-out chair bed and a walk-in wardrobe, while the other two bedrooms each have a double bed and wardrobe.
Walking around the property, completely surrounded by a large lawned garden, centuries-old olive trees and lavender, sage and rosemary bushes, you can admire all the typical features that dot the landscape of the Itria valley: the evocative stone cones of the trulli, farm buildings with pitched roofs and other ancient rural dwellings.
The enchanting, picturesque garden opens up to reveal a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and deck chairs where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. There is also a spacious outdoor area where you can grill and prepare tasty outdoor lunches or dinners in the shade of the veranda, gazebo or one of the other little seating areas.
The large rectangular pool has a saltwater disinfection system and measures 5 metres by 13 metres, with a depth of 1.20m at the shallow and 2.40m at the deeper end. The pool can be easily accessed via wide, steps set in-between two sun shelves, while an adjacent exposed stone corner provides the perfect place to shower off with fresh water. A comfortable bathroom and changing room, equipped with shower, completes the outdoor space that also houses a laundry room and small storage room on the side.
