Everything was perfect at the cottage and our host, Geri, was incredibly kind and helpful. We would highly recommend the property to others as the quality of furnishings and ambiance is outstanding. Just a truly lovely place to stay.
We had three glorious long weekends at Coco’s Barn. It’s a lovely space looking onto a gorgeous patio. The barn has a very comfy bed and sofa, lush linens and towels and everything you could need in the kitchen. Geri and Kevin were perfect hosts too. Would highly recommend stayed here!

About the host
Hosted by Geri Carden
We are a much travelled couple, enjoying the rural life with all of its activities. We love hiking, music, and sightseeing in Bath, which is close by. We love growing fruit and vegetables in our garden and walking our two very friendly labradors. Geri was an interior designer who changed her career to sustainability, but still loves decorating homes, and she has poured her love into this stunning cottage.
Why they chose this property
Coco's Barn is located in the grounds of Kilmersdon Common Farm House. The property dates back to the 1780's and is built of local stone. Waking up to birdsong, breathing in the fresh air and walking in our wonderful hills, or buying our specialist local water from the artisan business are all local daily activities. Coco's has been newly refurbished in 2022 and hosts a mixture of comfy sofa's and Asian antiques and art, from our many years living in Asia
