Welcome to this nice holiday home located by Bolmstad harbor with a view of Bolmen. Bolmen is Sweden's 10th largest lake and offers good fishing and swimming opportunities. Here you can get both pikeperch, perch and pike as that water is rich in fishes.

The cottage has a terrace with roof and an open terrace where you can enjoy the lake view of Bolmen. On the plot there is a swing that is appreciated by children. You share the plot with S06022 but the plot is still separated. Final cleaning will be added at a cost of SEK 2,200 per stay and SEK 4,50 per kw for electricity consumed during your stay.

Only 355 m away from the house is Bolmstad Säteri which is a culturally marked farm with roots from the 17th century. Despite its old historical origins, the farm is still in operation and runs active agriculture where the cows help to keep the landscape open. Here you can buy fishing licenses but also rent boats of 13 feet and 4-stroke engines with 5 hp. The rent for a boat costs SEK 1,000 per week and the engine SEK 1,500 per week. At the farm there is a communal sauna that is free to use.

At Bolmstad harbor there is a bathing beach with sandy beach, boat ramp and a waffle café in summer. The nearest shop is the country store in Tannåker and from there you can take the car over the bridge to the island of Bolmsö. From the northern part of Bolmsö you can take the cable ferry free of charge over to Sunnaryd.

A tip for a nice excursion destination is to drive south from Sunnaryd and visit Tiraholms Fisk located on the east side of Bolmen in Halland. Also take the opportunity to take a day trip to Unnaryd by Lake Unnen, which is a cozy town with small shops and restaurant Alebo.
The Småland town of Ljungby is also close to your cottage and has a lot to offer. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants and museums such as the Sven Ljungberg Museum and the Fairytale Museum. If you want to do some shopping, there is a large selection of second-hand shops. Stroll through Gamla Torg and pay a visit to the ceramics shop and Gästgivargården for a lunch stop. There are also many activities to choose from such as mini golf, paddle, indoor swimming pool and outdoor adventure pool.

South of Ljungby in Hamneda is Elinge Älgpark where you can feed moose. In Markaryd there is Smålandet that runs a moose safari which is also worth a visit. In Lagan there are both restaurant and shopping opportunities but also a moose park and golf course.
