Seaway Garden, Beachside Maisonette with Parking

Less than a 2-minute walk from Preston Sands Beach with its classic beach huts, this spacious two storey 3 bedroom maisonette is tucked away in a quiet location, yet within easy walking distance to a large selection of amenities including restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. Paignton is Torbay's family resort with Paignton Green being booked out almost every week of the summer with family events including Children's Week, Paignton Festival, Paignton Regatta, English Riviera Airshow, and Anderton and Rowland Funfair. And, of course, no visit would be complete without a stroll along the award winning Paignton Pier. With use of a private garden, garage and parking, this is a fabulous location for families to come and enjoy the Devon coastline with everything at your fingertips.

You will access the property via a blue picket gate. The main entrance will lead you up a flight of stairs to the main landing. From here you have direct access to the large lounge, two bedrooms, family bathroom and the dining room which you will pass through to access a fully fitted bright galley kitchen. The hallway has various cupboards for storage. The next set of stairs will take you up to your master bedroom with en-suite and views of the Devon coastline.

A lovely property in a convenient location 2 mins from beach

A shout out to Seawater Escapes who responded quickly when, on arrival, we complained about chipped crockery, scaffolding and consequent poor state of garden. Property did not disappoint. Everything is in good order, clean and works as it should. We’d stay again.

Lovely break away

Best summed up by my 16 year old son. “I could live here Dad”. Clean, very well equipped and comfortable. Before arriving I thought it looked to good to be true. I was wrong. It was exactly as described.

Spacious apartment

Good spacious apartment however it’s let down by a few issues. Parking outside is impossible, a tiny residential cul de sac so parking really is only in the garage. Whilst the details state it has a tv, there are no channels so you’ll need to use your own logins for Netflix / You Tube etc., but don’t forget to log out. Garden needs TLC, grass & weeds are overgrown & not as pristine as the online pictures with chicken wire hanging off the gate & rusty poles in the garden. As it’s pet friendly, we were met with a very wet patch in the hallway & a lounge chair that smelt of wet dog. Good points: location is fine & a walkable distance to the beach, beds were incredibly comfy. Games provided came in handy with no tv channels. Overall, a nice place but needs a bit of TLC & some tv channels.

Accommodation was great and very well equipped the only downside was the property was advertised with parking, it’s only on road parking but we only once got parked outside the property.

Nice clean propery, ideally located for Paignton beach. Sea view from master bedroom was very nice.

Great communication from vendors. Sea view from master bedroom was amazing, parking no issues, nice clean house. Ideal for Paignton beach (5mins walk). Nice outdoor space for bbq etc Would definitely go back

​Saltwater Escapes was started by husband and wife team Jamie and Kate. Born and raised in Brixham, Jamie spent his childhood on the local beaches and enjoyed the many outdoor pursuits Devon offers .  Kate's early childhood years were also spent by the sea in North Berwick, Scotland. Later moving to rural Berkshire, Kate enjoyed much freedom outdoors in the surrounding countryside. They have subsequently had two children of their own and hope to instil in them the same love for the outdoors, a sense of adventure, and the importance of quality time together. 

​Regularly taking their children back down to Devon, their treasured escapes from their busy pace of life and enjoying old fashioned fun have become a family tradition. A time to switch off and relax, to get back to nature, to try something new, explore somewhere different, and most importantly to make treasured memories.

​From the moment you arrive at a Saltwater Escapes property we aim to give you a warm welcome starting with complimentary welcome provisions with a few essentials and some local goodies too! All properties offer fantastic access to the towns treasure's including the many cafĂ©s and restaurants, the beaches and of course the beautiful sea. Our team of Housekeepers and Property Managers are all local should you need to call for any assistance with anything.
