Lovely house & great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Morus House was pristine clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The welcome pack was the best we've ever known: a full fruit bowl, bread & biscuits, fruit juice, a bottle of excellent red wine, coffee & milk, etc, etc - this was so appreciated, since we arrived at midnight and hadn't had chance to shop. The house is in a small village, about 40 mins drive south-east from Chania airport. A great location from which to explore western and central Crete. There is so much to see & do in this part of the island: the Imbros & Samaria gorges, monasteries, beautiful beaches, Chania old town, the botannical gardens; the list goes on. Our only beef was that there were some hiccups with communication. Receiving messages from numerous people - it wasn't clear who we were talking to. Perhaps having one point of contact would work better? All in all, we heartily recommend The Morus House.
