Villa Nopigia gives you a taste of modern luxury with an immaculately decorated interior in neutral tones with pops of colour. On the ground floor you’ll find an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with double doors that lead out onto the patio. Soft lighting and decorative touches give the space a relaxing atmosphere for romantic dinners or a family movie night. In the off season you can earm yourselves in front of the fireplace, sipping a glass of wine after a long day exploring the island.

Just off the sitting room is the twin bedroom, with exposed stone walls, accent lighting and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs are two further bedrooms that are elegantly decorated in comforting colours to lull you into a peaceful night’s sleep. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, plenty of wardrobe space and gorgeous views out to sea and the Cretan mountains.

The outside area of the villa is like your own private oasis adorned with giant palm trees and well kept lawns within its mountain setting. Catch some rays on the comfortable sun loungers, shelter from the sun and read a book on the shaded patio, or take a midnight dip in the pool with colour-changing lights. To the side of the pool is also a hot tub where you can soothe your muscles after a long day hiking, or sip champagne and enjoy the sunset with your partner.

Villa Nopigia is also only 70m from the nearest beach, so you can easily take a stroll down in the morning and come back home for lunch. A short drive away you’ll also find Kissamos (also known as Kastelli) and Chania airport is only 39km away.

Location:

Villa Nopigia is located on the west side of the island of Crete – the largest and most populated of the Greek islands. Just 70m from the nearest beach, it enjoys amazing sea and mountain views. It’s just 39km from Chania airport and a short 7km drive to the town of Kissamos, which is also known as Kastelli.

Kissamos is a popular seaside town yet to be spoilt by tourism, yet offers plenty of attractions for visitors. In the summer you can participate in regular cultural events experiencing the true local life and traditions. There are also plenty of restaurants, tavernas, bars, cafes, boutiques and supermarkets for your every need during your stay at the villa. The pretty seaside promenade is a great place to grab a bite to eat for lunch or a late night cocktail with views out to sea.

Kissamos has also established itself as somewhat of an centre for eco-tourism and has become a magnet for brid watchers, walkers and nature lovers. The town also has plenty of sightseeing opportunities: visit the Archaeological Museum of Kissamos to find a treasure trove of artefacts from the Hellenic and Roman eras; or stroll down Skalidi street to see beautiful architecture and explore local artisan craft shops. From the harbour in Kissamos you can also take a ferry to visit Kithira, Peloponenese and Piraeus. Or go on a cruise to Gramvousa and the Balos Lagoon.

The island of Crete is home to some superb beaches including Falarsana – one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean –; exotic Elafonisi in the south-west of Chania; Episkopi and Petres for a young vibe; Agios Pavlos in the south with its huge sand dunes; and the palm forest beach in Vai which is a sight not to be missed.
