Quick Book

My initial Vrbo booking was cancelled 3 days in advance of my arrival. Not much to choose from but this place was available. Pluses - Quick easy communication with booking person. Close to grocery store and restaurant. Easy walk to public transportation. Apartment features all amenities. Ample toilet paper provided. Negatives - bedding in bunk bed room was NOT clean. crusty sheets - bleh. Plumbing issues - kitchen tap leaks as mentioned on other reviews. Shower leaks on floor. Upstairs neighbour very, very noisy at night. Lightbulb needs changing in bathroom and spare Bedroom.

Location

We loved the location of this apartment. We fed the baby swans on the canal and enjoyed watching the children arriving at school each morning. There was a playground and supermarket nearby and very convenient. Lovely neighborhood.

The place

Its a nice apartment that needs some repairs. - shower drain was backing up - only one burner on the stove would light - the hood fan light didn't work - the shower room door handle fell kept falling off - its cleaned by a cleaner but really needs a deep clean - the grey couch looks like it came from a University dorm room I feel like someone needs to stay in the place for a few days with the some tools and supplies to repair these items and a really good cleaning needs to happen.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment was exactly like the description. It was perfect for our family of 5. The market nearby is well stocked and easy to walk to. The train station is a 10 min easy walk away. We used Bolt to the airport and it was very reasonable. Gilles was a great host who responded promptly when we texted. Throughly enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely weekend with friends

The house is very cute and bright, very quiet and clean neighbourhood. 20 minutes by train from the center.

Attractive, convenient, poorly maintained

Poorly maintained and limited instructions, certainly for laundry. Shower leak into bucket on dryer, kitchen faucet drip, balcony door lock broken, toilet seat partially unattached and loose, dirty kitched food cabinet, stinky sofa pillows. Lovely decor and area, but very disappointing condition.

Duiveren Amsterdam

Gute Lage. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und geräumig für unsere Familie. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Eigentümers war perfekt, vor allem, wenn ein Problem auftrat und sie kümmerte sich darum.

Great Host, great Place

Everything was perfect. Very fast responds, she took care of us and did everything to let us enjoy our stay. It is the perfect distance to reach out to the centrum since the train line is just a few minutes away. I would highly recommend her place every time !

Spacious but down to date flat

Generally we enjoyed our stay. The flat is rather spacious with a new washing Maschine and a lot of other pluses, such as wlan and a fictional kitchen and a nespresso Maschine. The neighbors were calm. A metro to the city is accessible by a 5-10min walk. There is also a supermarket close by where you find most stuff so you do not need to bring a lot of goods. There are just a lot of things that do not work. Bathroom furniture was broken, door handles that fall out of the door, light in the kitchen not working at the oven. We needed to call for a blanket on the sofa, which could be solved immediately via phone. Moreover the sofa was pretty spotted so are some blinders. Neither doors nor the windows cancel noise well and there is a permanent puddle in shower nobody seems to care about even after I texted the landlord. Both toilet and bathroom do not have a window nor a modern ventilation. Probably as a consequence I found some Lepisma saccharina in my sons bet. I also struggled a little bit with my allergies due to former customers that have visited with pets. There was no way I could officially park the car for free although there was a court that belonged to the house. Nevertheless we could park the foreign car in the streets without receiving any parking violation tickets for a couple of days.

Location parfaite

Appartement très agréable décoré avec gout dans un quartier très calme, verdure, canal et canards ! . 8 minutes à pied pour rejoindre la station de métro puis 13 minutes de métro pour rejoindre la gare centrale. Il y a un supermarché à 1 minute à pied ce qui est très pratique, très bonne location nous sommes très satisfaits .

Gilles is a superhost who was very flexible for the check in and check out timings..she allowed us to stay at the apartment till late evening since we had a late flight..the property is very spacious and very well located too..all in all 5 stars from my side

Comfortable and quiet

Spacious rental in quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds! There was everything you need there including a washer and dryer! Less then a 10 minute walk to the train station. There was a market and cafe 1 minute away. Very accomidating host.
