A great stay at Seal Point Cabin despite Storm Boelo

We had a lovely stay at Seal Point Cabin, despite our first weekend being during Storm Boelo. The cabin is very cosy and relaxing, with a great view onto the Loch. Louisa is fantastic and made us feel so welcome and looked after, providing lots of recommendations for where to go and where to eat. The surroundings were beautiful and it’s easy to get from the cabin to nearby places of interest for food and walks/hikes. We couldn’t recommend the cabin and Louisa enough!

Beautiful location

We loved our 3 days at Seal Point Cabin. The location couldn't have been more perfect, and the views across the loch at sunset were simply stunning. Our cabin was literally right on the shore and our little dog loved going straight out for a run around & swim. A great base to explore Inveraray and Argyll coastline, or simply sit and enjoy the view. A cosy, warm little cabin and very easy to reach along the private driveway. Louisa was fantastic and made us feel very welcome - thank you!

Beautiful!!!

We wanted a restful holiday, somewhere to enjoy beautiful scenery and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Seal Point Cabin was perfect! The views were wonderful, peace and quiet a plenty and Louisa, the host was fantastic - wonderful welcome and fab recommendations for the local area!! The cabin was beautiful, clean and comfortable - had everything we needed and was just what we wanted - cannot recommend enough!

Cute cabin, well equipped. Perfect location for relaxation. Excellent hosts, nothing too much trouble. Short drive to Inveraray for shops and eateries etc . Lovely woodland walks nearby.

Fabulous and relaxing stay in a beautiful cabin within a fantastic setting.

My wife and i had the best few days. It was so comfortable and relaxing in the most beautiful location. We will definitely be back again soon to enjoy the place as well as Louisa’s fantastic hosting.

Absolutely amazing cabin, very private surrounded by beautiful scenery. Everything provided for a relaxing stay, and Louisa was a brilliant host, extremely welcoming with lots of recommendations and always on hand to make sure our stay was perfect. 10/10, will recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back!

Brilliant ! Everything you could need in a comfortable yet spacious enough little cabin on the edge of the loch. Perfect hosts provided a lovely little get away. Comfy bed, lovely shower and a great little kitchen to cook a meal in the evening after exploring in a fab area . Thoroughly recommend

Mini break in May

Stunning location and wonderful hosts. Our 2nd May visit to the cabin and we are already planning the 3rd. All the peace and beautiful scenery you could wish for along with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Not far from Glasgow and surrounding areas and the drive up past the Loch's and onwards is breathtaking. Can't wait to return.

It could not have been any better.

Everything was perfect right from the start. In fact before the start as we visited Benmore Botanical Garden on the afternoon of arrival and it was simply stunning. The cabin itself was not only beautifully positioned, with a stunning view of loch from the deck, but perfectly equipped for 2 and a dog and as long a stay as you could manage. I would have stayed a month but we only had 4 nights. On the first evening we saw a seal from the bench that sits above the rocky beach, next day we went in search of some binoculars (found at Croots Country Store at Dunoon marina, really nice people and good deal on the bins) and by the end of the stay we'd seen more seals, a sea otter, and a family of porpoises on their way out of the bay (2 adults and a calf). We very much want to go back, next time I want to take a boat.

A scenic setting for a very compact cabin with a majestic view of Loch Fyne. A wonderful location to explore Argyll. Our stay was comfortable and the host was very joyous and accommodating.

2nd visit Cairndow

Our 2nd visit, on our return from Isle of Harris, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable with good quality beddiing. Situated in a beautiful spot, overlooking Lich Fyne, and we have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Stunning cabin location

We stayed for 3 nights late Spring at Seal Point Cabin. We received a warm welcome from the owner. The cabin was well equipped, clean and with many home comforts. The location and views around the cabin were absolutelly stunning, made even more perfect by beautiful dunny weather. A perfect place to switch off and relax.

A wonderful escape from the World!

This cosy little cabin on the banks of Loch Fyne is a wonderful escape from the World in a beautiful, unspoilt setting. Well appointed with efficient use of space and high quality and modern furnishings. Louisa and Peter are very considerate and welcoming hosts who make you feel right at home. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra day!

Beautiful cosy cabin

Just returned from a lovely short break at Seal Point Cabin. It's in a beautiful spot looking out over the loch with views from every window. It's beautifully furnished and finished with everything you could need for a relaxing, romantic stay. The weather was pretty awful when we were there but we still managed to sit out on the covered deck, wrapped in the blankets thoughtfully provided by Louisa. Highly recommended for a cosy couples getaway.

Absolute stunning location

Wow…. What a stunning location with amazing views. Louisa is the best host. Her spaniel Emma is adorable. We had a wonderful stay, and so had our dog, his own loch to swim in…. We definitely want to come back with friends and rent both cabins! The area is amazing and so many places to visit and many things to do, Thank you Louisa for a lovely memorable stay

A perfect Christmas in Seal Point Cabin by Lock Fyne!

A perfect Christmas in Seal Point Cabin by Lock Fyne! What could be better in more beautiful surroundings? Louisa gave us an enthusiastic welcome and even a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread hot from the oven. Delicious! Seal Point Cabin is dog-friendly too, and our labrador Marnie loved being beside, and in, the loch. The cabin has everything you need for compact living for two persons and the bed and funiture were extremely comfortable. Even though the temperatures outside dropped to minus degrees the cabin was warm enough and cosy. Locally there was plenty to do and see despite lots of things being closed for the winter. All the comments in the visitor's book were very positive and provided lots of ideas for places to visit. We highly recommend Seal Point Cabin. Thank you Louisa and Peter!

This little cabin is one of the most perfect places we have stayed in . From the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much for our hosts. The cabin had every thing you could possibly need to make our stay one we will never forget . I don’t think you could get a more perfect location. We could have spent a whole week just at the cabin taking in the beautiful views . A truly rare find .

Simply incredible!

I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back. From the moment we arrived and to the moment we left, our hosts were friendly and just a quick message away if we needed anything. The cabin was private, quiet, clean, cute and comfortable. The views are amazing and we even got to see a family of otters in the loch! There are some fantastic walks right from your front door and more to do and see in nearby towns including Inveraray. I felt so happy and relaxed the whole time. We loved it!

Perfect relaxation

Our cabin was stunning. Very comfy bed, well appointed kitchenette, lovely shower. Very clean and comfortable. The view from the cabin was fantastic. We had a perfect 2 night break. Our dog really enjoyed his walks and swims. Welcome pack included wine and bikkies for us and treats for woof. Louisa made us feel very welcome indeed. Looking forward to our next visit. A perfect oasis of calm. Xx
