Nice apartment with a couple of hiccups

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is well appointed anc comfortable. The location is not very central to most of the tourist sites but is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and we got around by Uber and public transportation. We had a couple of minor hiccups. We didn't realize that the city tax is extra and must be paid in cash. Also, there was a fire in another apartment just before we arrived, and the smoky smell lingered. There was also a sewer smell in one of the bathrooms. However, these are fixable, and I would still recommend the apartment.

Breathtaking views

We chose this place for its views. And they are breathtaking. And they're from EVERY room (excepting the bathrooms, of course!). It's a delight to take in Lisbon, its beautiful Targus river and the Atlantic Ocean as well. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, and very walkable (if you don't mind gentle hills). The apartment itself is well-furnished. Yes, it's a bit of a distance from the crazy crowds, but that's exactly what we wanted. There's a bus stand right outside, but we uberred back and forth, and that was inexpensive and very convenient. The communication was excellent throughout.

Beautiful apartment near Belem.

Beautiful apartment with nice view. Confortable, well equipped. The bus is steps away. Easy to get to attractions, once you get familiar. We recommend.

Our second stay

We love the view from the apartment, it is nicely furnished, very clean with good wifi (we had to work and had video conferences at the same time). It is of course not really in walking distance to the old town but that never bothered us, Uber is an easy solution in Lisbon.

Absolutely perfect!

We were so fortunate to find this apartment. The location is wonderful, just a little away from the downtown core therefore quiet and relaxed. The manager who checked us in was friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating to allow us to check in early after a very long travel day. A complimentary bottle of wine was left for us to enjoy and enjoy we did. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Views from both sides are excellent. For 2 couples travelling together it was exactly what we had hoped for. If we were to come to Lisbon again I would definitely reach out and see if this location was available .

Great Vacation Stay LIsbon in Ajuda

The property was every bit as advertised and pictured, so no unwelcome surprises there. The checkin was easy and well attended, thanks Caterina! This location is very close to Belem, where the Torre and the Navigator Monuments are located and the neighborhood was a quiet residential neighborhood, just what we wanted. If you can take a bus, this location is ideal for the inexpensive public transportation, easily utilized with Google to find which bus to take at which location. We visited all of Lisbon from this location with simple bus rides. Having the washer/drier was very helpful and set us up for the rest of our travels with clean clothes, just a we arrived - this is big plus for us. My only concern was that the oven never worked, so althoug we did cook a few meals using the rest of the kitchen equipment, we also were required to go out to dinner a couple of times, because the oven did not work. So four starts would be too harsh, considering all of the good parts of this VRBO, but perhaps it is a 4.5 star because of the oven never working, though we were counting on using it.
