Welcome to Snowdrop Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a family with children

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials (using the bespoke "boat" shelving rack) and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Off the hallway to the right is a large separate well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washer etc with views to the patio on the rear.

The other side of the hallway leads to the stunning large lounge taking full advantage of the Bay window with lovely leather sofas and SMART TV. At the rear of the lounge / diner is a large dining table for 4 with French doors to the large patio area to the rear.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 generous double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower (new bathroom installed in 2022).

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use.

This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Very comfortable winter break

We can recommend Snowdrop Cottage, having recently had an enjoyable winter break at this holiday home. There is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Also, if you do encounter any difficulties, on-site maintenance is absolutely superb.

Lovely snowdrop

Had a lovely stay at snowdrop, everything we needed, clean and tidy! Weather could have been better but it was a little home from home. Only slight negative! Please buy a better hoover lol.

Hidden Gem

The cottage is in a good position . It gives a home from home feel and the owner has thought of everything you may need to have the perfect stay,including plenty of storage including a rack for shoes. The cottage was clean ,modern and extremely comfortable with nice decor and lighting .The patio with furniture is a bonus too. Anthony at ABH was extremely helpful from issues I had booking right through to vacating with up to date sequence of emails and texts I would recommend the cottage and also Anchor Bay Holidays

Enjoyed our stay in cottage the overall experience was great Only had a couple of problems The heating never came on in afternoon or evening so was glad we had taken a couple of wool rugs. Heating was on all night and morning No sound on BBC 1 T v all other stations ok

Hi - sorry you had a couple of niggles - in the property are clear instructions to manage the heating - all you need do is turn it up or down to make it hotter or colder. In terms of the TV - we could have sorted that as you amended a setting for HD channels and we would have easily corrected this if you had contacted us?

Feedback from holiday at Snowdrop Cottage Filey Bay last week.

Absolutely delighted with everything! Excellent communication from Anthony and the team, including a phone call from Anthony to advise about a small previous leak in bedroom ceiling, which had been addressed and was not an issue during the stay. Lovely, spotlessly clean property, very comfortable beds, excellent kitchen facilities for self catering. 10-15 minutes walk to beautiful sea bay. Beautifully kept holiday village. I felt I was in very good hands and could contact Anthony if any issues during the stay. Fantastic value for money. I hope to be back again soon. I can highly recommend this property to others. Many thanks to Anthony and the team!

Excellent small property on the edge of the site. Cottage was very well-equipped, clean and comfortable with adjacent parking. A couple of negatives - dining chairs seen better days and shower heads need cleaning. Otherwise all brilliant. Information pack was extensive, but out of date (eg stated NO EV charging points on site). Site is ideal as a base but has limited facilities. The pub is more a restaurant, with outside tables near the road or in a dark and dingy area. The ‘play area’ is for under-12’s only - it appeared well-maintained.

5 day stay .

Although we enjoyed our 5 day break the cottage is the least favorable accommodation we have stayed in at The Bay over the last three years. We found the living area quite dismal, due to the fact of the dated and worn out furniture. The cleaning of the property could certainly have been much better , sticky floors in kitchen and hallway , door to both bathrooms were quite dirty , full of dirty hand prints , patio doors also dirty , other areas too could be little cleaner. What I can say though the bedrooms and bedding were clean and the bed very comfortable , the bathroom itself was really good and quite new with nice shower set up. Such a shame the cleanliness let the property down ! ..

We do ask you to report any issues and we pride ourselves on putting them right - the many 5* reviews will justify this. We would have willingly come back and rectified the issues you state but it is a shame you raised these after you left as we would have done these for you.
