A very well appointed cottage, with all the comforts of home
A lovely cottage which was well appointed but not as nice as 67.
The location and accessibility to the lake for canoeing was excellent.

Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and found 66 comfortable. Yes 67 has been completely refurbished, it’s a little more expensive and we do try to show the properties in our Web entries clearly as they all do differ quite a bit. We hope to see you again.

Short half term break
We had a lovely time at Damsel Cottage for a short break. The house is a bit tired round the edges and upstairs bathrooms with showers would be better . Beds were a but hard but appreciate this is a personal preference that is difficult to cater for. The lounge/kitchen has everything you need. It’s a great location , the whole area is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

A great holiday !
This is the 3rd time staying in this house and we do love it . However, it’s a bit tired round the edges now despite new doors and windows at the back . It needs new bathrooms and flooring in the bathrooms , personally I think a walk in shower instead of the bath in the en suite would be better . Having said that , the beds are comfy , and the lounge/kitchen has everything you need. It’s a great location , the whole area is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday once again !

Repeaters
I’ve just returned from another delightful break at Mill Village with my big kids and grandchildren. We drive from Brighton every year!) Damsel Cottage has everything we need regardless of age. I never tire of the beautiful lakeside views and walks, whilst the youngsters love the heated swimming pool, cycling and taking the kayaks out. It’s completely safe for them both cycling around the estate and there are lots of pretty Cotswolds towns and other venues to visit nearby. We also very much appreciated the large new walk-in shower. My happy place….and so many great memories.

A fabulous summer holiday
We stayed at mill village for 10 nights, 2 families sharing the cottage. Orion holidays were in touch leading up to our holiday with good communication about the day of arrival and codes for door entry, etc. they also had a great app about the area, restaurants, places to visit. The property was very clean, and mid stay we were offered a complete change of bedding and towels too. A door handle came off the dishwasher and they sorted it the day we were in touch. The customer service was excellent! There was plenty for teenage boys to do, fishing, paddleboarding, canoeing, wakeboarding, aquaventure park was nearby. There was an outdoor pool, tennis, table tennis on site, also a bar/restaurant. All in all, plenty to do and a great time on holiday.

Another Wonderful Week At Mill Village
From memory this is our sixth visit to Damsel Cottage. (It has become an annual event!) The Cotswold Water Park is an ideal location for our two active grandchildren aged 6 & 9, who just love the outdoor heated swimming pool and being able to cycle safely around the village. The weather this year was perfect and the kids swam at least once a day…. sometimes twice! I love the relaxed atmosphere of Mill Village and I never tire of the fabulous view across the lake from the decking at Damsel Cottage. I just wish that I could wake up to the view every day. The accommodation is comfortable and suits us perfectly.

Family Get Together
The Cotswold Water Park is our favourite place to spend time with our family and this year we were able to spend the whole week out and about. The family of seven stayed in Damsel Cottage and we, the grandparents had a smaller house, Trout Cottage, just a few houses up the road. No-one had any complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect including the weather, if a little hot during the day!

Great Stay
We had a great stay in Damsel Cottage with plenty of room for 3 generations. The Orion team were extremely friendly and helpful from booking to welcoming us when we arrived. Very warm and cosy cottage in a lovely location on the lake. We had some brilliant walks and cycle rides and enjoyed the pool area in the afternoons.
We all enjoyed the stay and are looking forward to returning!
