Let’s Glamp Retro is a family and dog-friendly luxury glamping site in the Cardigan Bay area with retro-themed lodges and wood-burning hot tubs. Rated Gold by Visit Wales
.We are a little slice of heaven near Cardigan Bay. Luxurious Lodge Pods themed in the ’60s, 70’s and ’80s each with its own wood-fired hot tub. We are family and dog friendly. Our super large Lodge Pods will sleep 6 and are double the size of most Pods. All are self-contained with showers and a toilet. No stumbling around in the dark at Let’s Glamp Retro. Our 60’s Lodge Pod is called Beatles (what else?) and is wheelchair friendly. Our 70’s Lodge Pod is called Queen and our 80’s Lodge Pod is Madonna each themed to reflect their era
Our Lodge Pods
We have 3 Lodge Pods – Beatles, Queen, and Madonna and they are all retro-themed. Each has its own luxury deluge shower and toilet. All have a proper kitchen with a 2 ring induction hob, built-in microwave grill, and a large fridge freezer allowing the gourmet in you to shine through should you so choose.
Beatles
Beatles Lodge Pod is disabled-friendly and themed for the ’60s including a record player and vinyl records to play. To allow for a larger wet room bathroom and bedroom this Lodge Pod caters for 4 people.
Queen
Queen caters for up to 6 people – 1 luxurious double bed, 1 comfy pull out sofa bed and 2 single bunk beds. Here you can rock to the 70’s listening to your favourite cassettes – don’t forget the pencil!
Madonna
Madonna also caters for up to 6 people. People who like the 80’s! With the same sleeping arrangements as Queen ( that is the Lodge Pod, not the Monarch !) Just select your fave CD, open the drawer and press play, why would anybody want to stream? 🙂
Each Lodge/Pod has its very own Aquaforno 2 cooking system Here you can cook pizza’s, casseroles, fry your brecky and even smoke the fish you have caught in New Quay. Also with its built-in kettle, you can make a brew or even some mulled wine – Your choice.

After a lifetime in the Corporate world and suffering a few redundancies between us, we, Mark and Dawn, decided it was time to change life’s pace and set out to find a new challenge for ourselves. So, we went on a mission from our home in Berkshire to Wales, finally narrowing down our choice of location to the West Wales region, where we have spent many a happy holiday and short break. (In fact, we spent our 1st wedding anniversary just a few miles from where we now live).
…Two years later and with numerous miles by car and multiple properties searched, we found our perfect spot and set out to build our dream. Our property, set in 9 acres of glorious countryside, with views that make your heart sing, is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Here we could create our ideal family-orientated, dog-friendly, luxury glamping site. Small enough that we could cope with ourselves, but large enough that a multi-generational break would be possible for those who want to go on holiday together (but not necessarily be 24/7 under the same roof as their nearest and dearest!) – and of course enough accommodation for when our own family come to visit!
…Not happy with just offering our guests fabulous 5* accommodation, we wanted our glamping site to offer something ‘extra’ – totally unique – retro came to mind. Let’s face it, we are not spring chickens – go with what you know! We’re big music fans, so naming our LodgePods after iconic artists such as The Beatles, Queen and Madonna is a perfect fit for us. Hence Let’s Glamp Retro was born! A beautiful, all bells and whistles LodgePod, retro-themed for the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with fabulous views. You’re never going to see another place decorated quite like ours that’s for sure!
