STANDARD RATE FOR 2 PEOPLE: RENTING FOR 3 or 4 PEOPLE GIVES AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE..
Casa Tepuana is a very comfortable house for up to 4 people. Large windows, composed as following: (ground floor only), entrance by terrace to large living room, a 3 seated sofa, 2 comfortable seats, TV. A fully equipped kitchen, dining area with four seats, bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin and in the backside two large bedrooms, each one with two individually beds (90 x 200 cm). Each of the windows gives you a spectacular view at the garden, and the animals in it. All windows are provided with mosquito screens. On the terrace in the shade, while enjoying your meal, you can observe all kinds of birds coming to refresh themselves in the water basins, and enjoy their songs. Both the Finca itself as the pool are fenced. The terrace is equipped with a large table and four chairs, just perfect to have your breakfast, or roasted dinner. For enjoying the sun in your garden there are 4 comfortable sun chairs. We, the owners, ( Carlos and Carin), are the ones that will receive you, can help you with all information.

Finca la Hijuela is located in the hills near Vejer, in a small town ( La Muela) , on a plot of almost 6000 m2. There are 4 totally separated houses for rent on the Finca; Casa Tepuana (2 bedrooms), Casa Encina (1 bedroom), Casa Azahar (1 bedroom), Casa Madreselva (1 bedroom).
Each house is separeted and private, with its own garden, terrace and barbecue. To be in the middle of nature. Surrounded by very old oak trees and more than 30 orange, lemon and lime trees, as well as other fruits. In the center of the Finca there is a large swimming pool (10 x 5 m). In the mature and colorful garden, you find all the privacy you could want.

We are near to; Vejer, Conil, Medina Sidonia, Seville, Cádiz, Tarifa, Gibraltar. Enjoy the most beautiful beaches on the Costa de la Luz with more than 15 kilometers of fine sandy beaches. The closest beach is about 8 kilometers. Several nice restaurants are nearby, as Vejer de la Frontera has been nominated as a new gastronomic destination.

This is the perfect place to make your vacation days very special days. Finca la Hijuela is for all those who love the sound of cowbells in the distance, while zipping a wine on your terrace, listening to the owls and enjoy the smell of jasmine. Very peaceful ...
Perfect houses for a stay away from the hubbub of Vejer and Conil, but so close that it is easy to make visits there, for example to the beaches.

Great stay!

We had a lovely stay, our cottage was immaculately clean and set in beautiful gardens designed so that the cottage was very private. Lots of lawn for our toddler to play on and big pool to enjoy too. Close to Vejer and the beaches.

Perfect family holiday

We loved our stay at Casa Tepuana - perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful gardens and lovely house for both adults and children alike. Our children loved the animals and playing hide and seek around the beautiful gardens. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you do much Carin and Carlos for a lovely stay.

A wonderfull cosy place is this where you can relax completely without missing anything. Thank you!!

This is a simple, very clean and lovingly designed cosy cottage in a beautifull garden and the hosts are very caring so that one can spend an awesome carefree time there. Everything was as described and even exeeded our expectations.

A wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful 1-month stay in the Casa Tepuana! The house is nicely decorated, has a covered terrace (ideal for those warmer days) and is nestled in a beautiful, quiet garden. We would highly recommend the spot for visitors to the area of Vejer and the coast who are seeking a more green and tranquill spot. It is also ideal for pets and children given the enclosed garden and the pool.

Excellent- Perfect for our needs

We have stayed here before and were so impressed that we came back! We will be going back again for sure... Carlos and Carin are excellent hosts and very helpful. Their properties are well looked after and have all the essentials. The finca is centrally located for the Costa de la Luz with many towns, beaches and places of interest within easy reach. We would highly recommend a stay in La Hijuela!

Tranquility and 15minutes from the beach!

The house has everything you need for your stay. It is in the grounds of the owners and other guests but feels very very private. Beautiful trees, flowers, waking up to the sound of birds and a lovely outside dining area (or yoga area in our case). Comfy beds and has the benefit of a dishwasher. The hosts are lovely and accommodating but don't impose on you in any way. We had a lovely stay..many thanks xx

Lovely villa in a quiet secluded location

Carin and Carlos were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The villa was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The setting is beautiful - well-kept gardens, and a really nice swimming pool. It's a bit tricky to find and to get to, but worth the effort. Lovely nearby beaches. Due to the isolated location, a car is essential for staying here.

Garden Oasis

I can't rate this place highly enough, it's a beautiful garden oasis in the middle of a lovely part of Spain. Our hosts were really lovely and friendly, the house decoration had lots of attention to detail, had everything we needed and was presented in immaculate condition. The pool area was lovely and my kids were made to feel very welcome. If you're looking for peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings I highly recommend this place.

Very quiet stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Carin is a wonderful host and responded to our needs very quickly. The finca is in a rural position so it is very peaceful. Ideal position to tour Costa de la Luz with a car. We had issues with the wifi as it was a very weak signal. Carin tells me that she is trying to improve things.

Peaceful, beautiful oasis...

We stayed for a week with our 2 sons (8 & 6), the gardens are so relaxing & scented and come alive at night with the sounds of nature (grass hoppers/lizards/frogs etc). The swimming pool is nice and big, lovely after a day in the sun, beaches just 15 minute drive away, nice cafe/bar couple of minutes away. Thank you Carin & Carlos - we really will visit again. x

Wonderful and peaceful.

I don’t know how to start to describe Finca la Hijuela, Casa Tepuana and the set up Caron and Carlos have - It is perfect and so very peaceful! The house is so pretty, welcoming, clean and very functional, with everything you would need. The outside area and garden is beautiful and private, I would sit with my coffee in the morning listening to nature and admiring the swifts chasing in and out of the trees, so tranquil.The pool area is great, we used it a lot.Carin and Carlos are both charming, warm and very welcoming hosts, they get a lot of return guests and I can see why. Their two dogs are super friendly and will visit for a fuss and a scratch.We will return and stay much longer.

Peaceful haven.

Lovely peaceful finca in beautiful gardens with a very clean swimming pool. Very rustic but with all mod. cons. Very private but Carin on hand for any help or information. Close to Verja with fantastic restaurants and close to Conil with a great beach, shops and supermarkets. Visits to Cadiz and Medina Sidona a must. Would definitely recommend.

excellent stay

Good, nice, clean house, with large garden. lot of privacy. Fresh swimmingpool. 10 minute drive from very nice city with lots of nice restaurants/supermarket etc. 10 minute drive from beach: not so crowded, sandy beaches. Very nice host and hostess. They also serve meals 2-3 times every week for very good value. If you want to escape the crowded fully packed costa del sol: this is the area to go to.

Little slice of heaven

We had an absolutely lovely week at this gem of a finca. I almost don’t want to review it so it can stay a secret! The house was perfect for our family of 4. The gardens and pool were absolutely stunning & we really relaxed in this quiet haven. Carin, Carlos and the animals were all welcoming but discreet and although there are 3 other little fincas in the garden we barely saw anyone. We loved the nearby Vejer de la frontera that we visited a few times and there are some fantastic albeit windy beaches all within easy reach. We will be back, thank you! Love Jeff, Emma & family x

Wonderful Gem

Carin's place was stunning - like a little Paradise. A perfect holiday base, and place to relax and chill. Stunning gardens, lovely pool, and a well-laid out and comfy house. Great access to all you need like beaches, Vejer and countryside walks, (you need a car really though) but the best thing about this place is Carin and Carlos, they are so friendly, accommodating, kind and went the extra mile for us. The only snag was the internet, which as we were working from home was a little tricky in the house, but they kindly let me sit nearer to their house for better reception. But if you are on holidays, the slower wifi is a good chance to get off the screens and into the pool!

The perfect place to stay!

We (2 adults, 2 children & our dog) have just returned from an incredible stay at Finca La Hijuela in the 2 bedroom villa Tepuana. The villa itself is light, spacious and had a brand new bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and the kids were very happy with the wifi! If you like being in the quiet Spanish countryside, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, listening to the birds sing then this is the place for you! It is a great location for visiting the beautiful Vejer de la Frontera and the gorgeous white Sandy beaches of the Cádiz coast. We also traveled to Jerez and Cádiz which were around 40 minutes away for some retail therapy. It’s within easy walking distance of a couple of local bars which serve gorgeous Tapas, the famous local pizza place and a shop. This place is beautiful and the hosts and their dogs made every one of us (including Einstein) feel welcome from the start. We will definitely be back, we miss it already!

Salimos muy felices de haber encontrado este lugar tan maravilloso,os aseguro no le falta detalle.Rodeado de un jardín maravilloso en un entorno increíble de la sierra en Vejer. Alles war genauso wie beschrieben, mit einem wunderbaren Garten. Allerdings würden wir im Sommer nicht mehr buchen, da es ohne Klimaanlage für uns fast nicht möglich war zu schlafen. Wir hatten das Pech, das durchgehend 40 Grad waren und es am Abend noch sehr lange hell war. Ansonsten kann man nur das Allerbeste berichten: Eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die mehrere Sprachen sehr gut spricht, ein schöner Pool und die Lage des Hauses ermöglicht sehr viele Ausflüge wie z.B. Jerez, Cadiz, Tarifa und vieles andere. Im Frühjahr oder Herbst jederzeit wieder!

Traumhafte Finca abseits des Trubels

Wir haben für knapp zwei Wochen Mitte bis Ende Mai 2025 im Haus Tepuana auf dem großen Grundstück der Finca gewohnt. Die Finca und das Haus entsprechen der Beschreibung. Ein tolles Grundstück. Das Haus bietet alles Notwendige. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel in Conil oder Vejers, beides aber gut zu erreichen.Tolle Pizzeria ganz in der Nähe. Auto ist zwingend. Pool konnten wir schon nutzen und auch im Meer konnten wir schon baden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Gerne wieder!

I was born in Holland, during my childhood i often spent my whole summers in Conil de la Frontera, Cadiz, since a friend of my mother lived there. Holidays seemed endless back then, and I really enjoyed being in southern Spain. Then, as a teenager, I met my now husband... We have been living in Sevilla together, then 10 years in Holland again, and finally we bought our finca and started our new life here...

The surroundings are so beautiful, it´s pure nature, and aboveboard, nothing to do with our lifestyle in Holland.
We live away from it all, but on the other hand, everything is so close, you can easily visit a lot of different towns and cities, each of them with their unique delights. But when you get back, entering the gate, you smell the garden , the pine trees and enjoy a soft blowing wind and you feel like you can be yourself..

Each rental house on the Finca ( 4) is completely Private, and Indepented, with it´s own garden, terrace, barbeque and piece of the garden. 100% Nature, being taken care of by us where needed, silence, caring animals, beautiful views, quiet, just how your wel-earned holidays should be!!
Be careful though; several guests keep repeating year after year....
Something in the air here (or maybe the water??) is contagious.. ;-)

We, the owners, ( Carlos and Carin), are the ones that will receive you, can help you with all information, medical problems, we are the ones that clean the houses, wash, take care of the garden etc. So you will not have to deal with any other person during your stay.. Due to the Covid-19 issue, we are cleaning the houses now with ozon as well, to make sure that at your arival you will have an completly clean and hygienic house waiting for you..
