Troubling Experience
I was very excited for my family's stay at this apartment in a very good location in Florence. We were greeted by an employee who let us in early to drop off our bags and said to come back by 3:30 so the cleaners could change the linens and towels. We went out to lunch and walked around and came back by 4pm, and the cleaners had still not come. The host had very poor and slow communication, eventually told us it would only be another 20 minutes, and it ended up being 2 hours until they showed up. So we had still not been able to shower at this point after a long travel day, and had to leave the apartment for another hour. We came back to the apartment an hour later and there was no hot water. I messaged the host about the hot water and received no answer from the host after many inquiries about how to get hot water. At this point, we were very frustrated and then saw a cockroach run across the floor. I again messaged the host, and they had very poor communication, we ended up leaving the property, did not stay at all, and they are only willing to refund us for the cleaning fee. Do not stay here is you are looking for an experience with a reliable and communicative host.
