Cozy rural holiday home with beautiful countryside views

In the heart of the Dutch polder landscape, on the edge of Alphen aan den Rijn, you will find our characteristic farm *Maria’s Lust*. On the property, there are four comfortable holiday homes, each offering beautiful, unobstructed views over the surrounding meadows.

Looking to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside? Then you’ve come to the right place.

**The apartment “Het Zomerhuis” is fully equipped with:**
• A fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge with freezer compartment
• Free Wi-Fi
• Two bedrooms: one double room and one room for four guests
• Comfortable box-spring beds (can be arranged as single or double beds)
• Private terrace with garden furniture
• Air conditioning
• Access to a washing machine and dryer

The living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom are located on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find the second (four-person) bedroom and a cozy mezzanine.

**For young and old**
For children, there is a play area with a trampoline and swings. Although we are no longer an active farm, there are still plenty of animals around, including sheep (with lambs in spring), horses, chickens and alpacas.

**Explore the surroundings**
From your doorstep, you can enjoy beautiful walking and cycling routes through the Green Heart of Holland (routes available).
The centre of Alphen aan den Rijn, with a variety of shops and restaurants, is just a 5-minute drive away.

Thanks to the central location, cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Delft, Leiden and Gouda are all within easy reach. The North Sea beach is approximately a 30-minute drive away.
