Villa Marinus is an enchanting property of about 3,000 sqm, located in Corsano, between the areas of "Guardiola" and "Funnuvojere."
It can accommodate up to 10 guests and consists of the main house and an outbuilding. The villa also features a private swimming pool and terraces offering panoramic sea views of the Adriatic coast.
The property is equipped with a heating system and internet connection, making it suitable for the winter months and for remote work.
THE LOCATION
Villa Marinus is located on the Adriatic coast in the southern part of Salento, along the coastal road SP 358 Otranto - Leuca, approximately 3 km from the town of Corsano and about 13 km from Santa Maria di Leuca.
The stunning sea view offers unique and unforgettable emotions, especially at dawn, when the sky and sea come alive with a symphony of colors. On clear days, you can even see the mountains of Albania and some Greek islands in the distance.
The surrounding natural environment makes the villa an ideal destination for relaxation and nature lovers. However, please note that reaching the villa from the parking area (located on the coastal road) requires walking about 100 meters to reach the entrance staircase, which may be a bit of a challenge.
THE LAYOUT
As previously mentioned, the villa consists of the main house, an outbuilding (with 2 independent bedrooms, each with a bathroom), and a large private outdoor area.
The entrance to the villa is from the coastal road, accessed via a large stone staircase with approximately 70 steps. The initial effort to climb will soon be rewarded by the breathtaking sea view and the surrounding landscape.
MAIN HOUSE
The main house covers about 75 square meters and is equipped with air conditioning and elegant furnishings.
The entire house features sandblasted marble flooring and consists of:
- A living room furnished with a sofa, fireplace, TV, and offering a beautiful view of the outdoor terrace and the sea.
- A fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, decorated with Vietri ceramics.
- Two double bedrooms, each air-conditioned and with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, featuring hand-painted local ceramics.
DEPENDANCE
The elegant outbuilding is about 50 square meters and consists of two double bedrooms (one with an additional bunk bed) with en-suite bathrooms and a sea view.
The rooms in the outbuilding will be available upon specific request or for bookings with more than four guests.
OUTDOOR SPACE - TERRACES, BARBECUE AREA, AND PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL
The outdoor space offers ample opportunities to enjoy pleasant moments outdoors and includes:
- A lounge terrace shaded by a centuries-old Vallonea oak, furnished with a table, chairs, and a small lounge—ideal for breakfast, aperitifs, or relaxation.
- A patio terrace, furnished with a sofa, armchairs, and a chaise longue, perfect for sunbathing or sipping a drink while enjoying the breathtaking view.
- An outdoor patio with a large dining table and chairs, and a stone barbecue nearby, making your outdoor dinners and grills truly fantastic.
- A stone swimming pool with a solarium area and sea view.
Finally, there is a comfortable outdoor shower and a laundry area equipped with a washing machine and dryer.

Villa Marinus is not far from the town of Corsano and overlooks the Otranto-Leuca coastal road, along the Adriatic Sea.
We particularly recommend visiting the Ciolo Bridge, one of the most photographed spots in Salento, located about 5 km from the villa along the coastal road (also home to the famous "Gibo'" luxury club and wedding venue).
For hiking and trekking enthusiasts, there are several scenic trails to explore, such as the Vie del Sale—ancient paths that connect Corsano to the sea—and the Sentiero delle Cipolliane, a beautiful trail overlooking the sea, about 3 km away, linking Marina di Novaglie to the Ciolo Bridge.
In addition to hiking, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy. In Marina di Novaglie, you can go snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving (to explore the beautiful seabed and crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic coast), or take a boat tour to visit the stunning sea caves.
The nearest town, Corsano (just 2 km away), offers essential services such as grocery stores, a pharmacy, a petrol station, a bank, a gym, a bakery, and more.
Corsano also hosts cultural and food events, especially in the summer, providing a great opportunity to experience the beauty and traditions of the Salento region.
Finally, Villa Marinus is ideally located for exploring other nearby attractions, including Santa Maria di Leuca (about 13 km), Castro (about 16 km), and the Ionian beaches (about 18 km), known for their sandy shores.
