Our stay

We had a lovely stay at this villa complex. Eri was a very helpful host who was on call for any help with the property. Loved using the pool and lazing aroind in the sun!

Great villa that exceeded our expectations

Loved the villa and everything about our stay here. Everything was exactly as described but even having seen the pictures the view and everything about our stay surpassed our expectations. The villa was kept spotlessly clean and if you needed any help or advice it was only a phone call or text away. Plenty of great places to eat within walking distance and the beach was only a 20 minute walk away. Would 100% recommend this villa and area.

Fantastic place!

The location was perfect for walking to tavernas and local shops. The walk to the beach was lovely - albeit a bit of a hike back up! The villa although only one bedroom, was really spacious and well equipped. The owner and wonderful Christina, who met us and took care of everything we needed from start to finish, we’re all so easy to contact, welcoming and helpful. A wonderful holiday and highly recommended.

Such a perfect location

We love the south side of Kephalonia, and Eri’s villa is perfectly located, walking distance to several tavernas and the Souvlaki House, and two (3?) mini markets. A short drive to Lourdata beach, which we like as our “local” beach, Lithero seafood restaurant right in the water being a nice way to end the day. The villa itself is perfect for two, much more spacious than a studio, it is a real apartment , with its own Private pool overlooking the ocean. Well-equipped, Maria emptied the trash every day and we had a full housekeeping mid-stay, which was nice. Really a nice, quiet, private place. Can’t think of any way to improve it. Thanks, Eri!

Overall our stay was very good. A great location for getting to the other parts of the island and the beach at Lourdas was as good as any other frankly. The photo shows a large parasol but this was missing and would be useful. A file of instructions for the utilities, local pharmacy, even restaurants away from the property and beach would be helpful. For info, the upper lock on the pool side windows/door doesn't work 100% though we never felt unsafe or insecure. Katherina was great and helpful with local knowledge. The House Martin's nest was a bit messy but watching the parents feed the youngsters was delightful. Overall it was a great base and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Great escape

We stayed at the one bedroom villa in September 2011. The villa was excellent, offering real value for money. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. It was especially great to have a dish washer and also a washing machine. Two supermarkets, several restaurants and couple of bars are just around the corner. We enjoyed some lovely dinners at the restaurant called La Mer. The beaches are nearby, but it's easier to reach them by car or a scooter (also rentable from the village). We would especially recommend Agios Thomas and Pessada beaches, which are small but absolutely beautiful beaches within 20 minutes drive from the villa. The owner of the villas was very helpful and easy to reach at any time. We would definitely recommend Erofili Villas to everyone looking for a relaxing and good-quality stay in Kefalonia.

Simply Perfect

We cannot fault our stay at all, everything was perfect. The villa was spotlessly clean, the pool and view was just as described and so very peaceful! With a range of restaurants, mini-supermarkets and quiet bars within a 10 minute walk, we had everything we needed. Lovely down hill walk to a stunning beach, a bit tougher on the way back! We hired a car at the airport and since the speed limit is about 30 miles an hour, the roads were easy to navigate. 25 minutes to Lidl to stock up for the week and the capital is totally worth the half hour drive. Thank you!!

Excellent villa

Excellent Villa Wonderful views. We stayed here for our honeymoon eventually after being delayed by Covid Restrictions. The communication we had with the villa owner through the cancellation of all flights etc was exceptional which is just one of the reasons why, when we were eventually allowed to travel there was only one place we wanted to be. The villa itself is lovely the views are amazing. The staff Ery has in place are always willing to help and very quick to respond to any requests. Local shops and bars are very friendly. You have a choice of restaurants within a few minutes walk and we had excellent meals at all of them. The owner even sent us a map with highlights to see in beautiful kefalonia. All in all we had a perfect stay and we will definately be returning . Thank you Ery and the villa staff x

Lovely villa and Exceptional Hosts

The villa is maintained to a very high standard and the customer care provided is exceptional. The lovely view provides a perfect setting for the villa, while the location is very convenient for a number of beaches, supermarkets and places to eat. The villa is a real credit to the owners.

Perfect stay!

We had a really lovely time at this villa, which is exactly as described. The pool was a real treat! It's very close to numerous cafe's and bars - we didn't hire a car in the end, and it was fine. We walked to the beach twice - it's 25 mins - but there is a regular and reliable bus service both ways, so would be easy to go every day. Ery was an excellent and very responsive host, and Eleutheria who cleaned for us every day, was lovely and helpful. Didn't mention the view, which is stunning, looking over the sea to Zakynthos! Transport from the airport was fine, around 20 mins, E35, but we got the bus to go back, which is slower but super cheap! I really want to go back here (ASAP, looking at the weather in Britain now!)

High quality and fantastic position .

Had a fantastic time , the villa had fantastic views , high quality furnishings , very comfortable indeed . As with most villa s you need a car for convenience to explore but this villa is very close to fantastic tavernas and mini market s and a frequent bus to the beach all within a 2-3 minute walk . Great position

Beautiful villa

We had a wonderful stay, the villa was beautiful and the view was amazing! The weather unfortunately tried to spoil things but didn't manage to. Had many lovely meals but the best were at the olive lounge and souvlaki house, you will need to book for both. The daily maid service looking after us was really good. Would recommend!

Great villa

Fabulous villa in a secluded location, yet only 100 yards from a number of restaurants.....try Olive Lounge, we thought it was excellent. You will need a car though as the beach is over a mile away and its a steep walk down (and back) but this will mean that you can explore the island

Perfect peace

Second visit to this villa and fourth to the island. Love the setting and the private pool. Ery is very helpful and can't do enough for you. Will be returning at some point and will definitely choose this villa again.

Erofili Villa near Lourdas Beach, Kefalonia

Great 2 bedroom villa, with a high spec. Very clean, excellent maid service and facilities. Large living area could have done with an extra air-con unit to keep the heat down. Pool was excellent in great condition. Umbrella for shade was fixed and not always offering shade, a slight problem when really hot. Great little balconies to eat from and enjoy the views. Owners always willing to help. Private car park. Taverna down the road, 50 metres, Spiros, excellent and not expensive, lovely people run it. Need to tavel to get to the best beaches, so car hire needed for this. A treat to have stayed there. Lourdas and Trepazaki beaches closest, but a bit of a walk. Area quiet, no noisey bars, supermarkets handy. South of Argostoli, 20 minutes by car. Having a car got us to Myrtos beach, Antisamos beach ( Corelli filmed there). Must visit Fiskardo and Assos, best places we saw.
