Great place to stay while in London

6 of us stayed at this lovely place and it was perfect. There was enough room and amenities for all of us. I would definitely stay here again if I ever head back to London.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Emile was extremely helpful and fantastic to work with and the property was clean and comfortable. It is located perfectly between the Angel and Highbury/Islington tube stations - easy access to all London has to offer. Highly recommend 17 Pleasant Place for your stay in London!

Needed a place to spend a few days exploring London - this rental was perfect. Loads of space, thoughtful and responsive owner, good distance to tube stations but with a residential vibe.

We are generally positive reviewers and don’t like to share negative experiences publicly, that being said we’ll start positively.The property is well located, many cafes, shops, pub and other things walking distance.3 generous sized bedrooms and a compact living/kitchen area.We visited during a heatwave in London and although the owners provided some fans the property was unbearable hot, mostly above 30 degrees 24/7 in all rooms making it totally inhabitable for us and our young family.The windows were not secure so we couldn’t open them and safety in London is always a concern.With all the above in mind we had to check out the property 3 days earlier than planned and find alternative accommodation, despite many conversations with the owner he refused to refund the remaining nights despite the property being inhabitable.Leaving us paying for 2 properties in London, one of which we were no longer staying. Expensive to say the least! During a holiday you expect to be able to relax, unwind, enjoy and sleep and we were unable to do any of these during the 4 days we ended up staying here.The owner seemed to have no empathy or respect for us and our family and chose money and greed instead.

Unfortunatley this was a very unfair guest. For anyone booking , please note , as with 90 percent of apartments, we do not have Airconditioning. The apartment is in a block of apartments over 100 years old and you cannot easily add Airconditioning. These guests wanted a refund because they stayed during a record heatwave in London and wanted to leave and book one with Airconditioning . They also strangely claimed the windows didn't open which was completely incorrect. Ofcourse all windows open in the apartment. I wish we were lucky enough in London to experience hot weather more often but unfortunately our climate is not like southern Europe :(

Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and ready for our stay. The host was great and was very hospitable and helpful.We were there for 4 days, the home was big enough for our group of 12. It was clean and perfect for our stay.I would stay at this property again when visiting London.

The kitchen area was big, clean, well lit and ventilated. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. Big fridge and freezer, Plenty of counter space, toasters, coffee (Keurig) and kettle. We bought a coffee press which we left for the next guest. The kitchen served us extremely well for our 6 adults, and 3 small kids.

The 3 bedrooms were ideal for us, especially with one being downstairs where our son and his family could use the whole bottom floor as the babies adjusted to the time change. Beds were cozy and the location was close to the train and the town!

We booked this for our daughter’s wedding in London. Very clean and well laid out property. Kitchen is stocked with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. Well located between Angel and Highbury/Islington station. Emile was able to organise a slightly earlier check in even though she had guests checking out on the day. This is the newest of my holiday apartments in a block of 9 new apartments. Everything is brand new and 5 star luxury. All bedrooms are decent sized double rooms

Lockbox system at the front door with keys inside. Once guests have the daily combination code they can 'self checkin'. This enables checkin at late hours.
