Family Trip to London

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. Communication with the hosts was great, the check-in process was easy and the location was convenient. The space was comfortable for my wife and I plus 2 teenagers.

Fabulous flat in the city!

This sun-filled spacious flat worked beautifully for our family. Located within an easy walk of the Old Street tube station and with several bus links to other parts of London, it was incredibly convenient. The owner was incredibly responsive to our questions and did everything possible to ensure that our stay was seamless, convenient, and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Space

We absolutely loved this apartment. It was decorated beautifully and was supplied with everything you need. Great location and the hosts were lovely and very responsive every step of the way. Highly recommend!

The flat is stunning and as depicted. The views from inside and the balconies were beautiful . We used Ubers to get around the city and found easy access to wherever we wanted to go. It was very also well equipped. The only reason I rated the property as only three stars for accuracy of description was that access to the apartment had a section of stairs without handrails. That was difficult for me because of some mobility issues.

Stay AWAY

Arrived - NO HEAT in flat, advised property management. slept in clothes to stay warm first night. next day they said it was fixed. it was not. they finally after many calls delivered space heaters to put in bedrooms. fixed on 3rd day of 11 days. Heat was never fixed in kitchen living area had to use space heaters. Be aware - THE LIFT DOES NOT WORK EVER. YOU WALK UP 6 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. PEOPLE THAT LIVE THERE SAY IT NEVER WORKS. You are on main drive and listen to sirens constantly. it is not the cleanest flat.

Spacious London Apartment

This apartment was spacious for our party of 6. Good storage in each of the bedrooms. Lots of windows and doors to get fresh air. One bathroom didn't have a sink which meant we had to share with the other bathrooms but it did have a toilet and shower. Easy to shop as there were several small grocery stores, mini marts and pubs local. Close to the tube station that allowed us to get anywhere. Lots of taxis during the day drive through the neighborhood. The elevator is small but fast. There are several sets of stairs getting to the apartment that the elevator does not cover. Made the process of getting luggage in and out a bit more complicated. Property managers were easy to contact and responsive. We would stay here again.

Never again

I will never book a flat where the host isn’t the actual owner. Very difficult to get hold of once we started voicing our problems with the flat. I gave up and called VRBO twice and was told someone would call me. Didn’t happen. Flat wasn’t very clean, couch had stains. We hesitated to sit on it. Lamp’s didn’t work. Faulty blind and faulty lock on a window. Blind was fixed but that’s about it. Suddenly calls failed. It advertised a hot rub which didn’t exist It said a/c but there wasn’t any and it is an extremely hot flat.

Buyer Beware / Read this do not book through JVC rentals.

Where do we start? The pictures that are shown on the listing are nothing like what you get. Here is the list (and after this experience I wouldn’t book a rental again as VRBO is not at this time helping resolve anything). The apartment was super dirty when we got there (toilets not flushed, hairs everywhere, dust filth) to the point I cut my foot on a piece of broken glass. Operationally nothing works - the lamps look nice but don’t plug into the walls. The worst part is the place is 26 degrees it’s super hot. No forced air we sweat every night in this heat box. When we asked for a call to discuss, they avoid picking up and text that they could send a cleaner. Also this says it’s 6min from Big Ben that is not accurate we went there yesterday and it was a 30plus min taxi. Don’t rent here !
