Maison absolument magnifique extérieur et interieur, point de vue extraordinaire, 2 criques accessibles à chaque bout du bout du jardin, accueil sympa et hôte qui donne de bonnes adresses !

Unique property, perfect location

We spent a week in Villa Charoupi in May. First, I've got to say the communication with the bookings manager was excellent and we received excellent recommendations about the beaches and restaurants in the vicinity. The villa itself was ok, decor a bit dated, but kitchen quite well equipped (apart from no microwave) and 2 of the 3 bedrooms were spacious. The third, separate bedroom was a bit on the small side and lacking in furniture, but all the beds were really comfy. The landscape around the villa is beautiful, and it was the outdoor space which really won us over. A lovely environment to relax in (if someone is keeping an eye on the toddler). And of course there aren't many properties with private access to the sea. The pools were great for mooching around in and the sea was nice for snorkelling, with a variety of fish and a rocky coast going into sand. You have to go out a bit of a way to get depth. There are 3 coves minutes away which made great day trips and which were lovely for swimming and snorkelling (Kakkos bay has some great swim throughs and a wonderful swimming pool), All in all we loved our time here and would probably come back

beautiful autumn in Crete

We booked our trip for a stay with Pelagaios in autumn. The place is beautiful even during November when we stayed. We were lucky with the weather and George our host was excellent. He was very friendly and helpful. George gave us many tips and therefore due to the location of the house we visited so many places the location is ideal both for relaxing as well as exploring southern Crete! Thank you George for the amazing holidays.

Paradise on a Greek island!

Our family of 4 adults arrived at Villa Kali Skia down a winding path ( enough room for a car) to find the villa on two levels set into the bottom of the hillside and overlooking a crystal clear blue bay, surrounded by picturesque cliffs. The flat area outside the villa had palms, olive trees and Hibiscus trees and there were two levels to lay on the deck loungers sunbathing and taking in the gorgeous views. My family mostly swam from the bay and I was more cautious paddling around in one of the sandy bottomed rocky pools. Bliss The top level of the villa had two simply decorated but very comfortable bedrooms (excellent large beds) and a bathroom with large wet room. A few steps outside, down to the living room, kitchen and another bathroom with wet room (lovely tiling in both bathrooms) The living room, with excellent and tasteful Decor and large area of comfortable seating, with large windows overlooking the sea. Through an archway was a well equiped kitchen. Just outside the sitting room we ate breakfast and lunch on the Veranda at a table underneath a palm leaf "roof" The villa was kept spotless by the lovely cleaner and Georgious visited us regularly to make sure we had everything we wanted. The younger couple toured around a little, but my husband and I were so comfortable and happy relaxing at Villa Kali Skia, we hardly moved, other than going to different Tavernas each night. Two favourites were: Taverna Kaliotzina at Koutsouras, east along the main road, on the sea front, approx 15 mins. (ask Georgious) and Taverna Kapilo in Monastiraki in the mountains north of Irapetra. (lovely owners and food) We couldn't have had a more wonderful holiday and wanted to stay! Wir hatten eine sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einem herrlich gelegen Haus in einer traumhaften Bucht; toll gelegen zwischen Olivenbäumen mit Blick aufs Wasser-idyllischer gehts nicht!!!

Paradise on earth!

WOW, a very small word with a massive impact can sum up this Villa! My husband and I booked the villa due to the location: the place is nothing but outstanding. It sits in front of the sea on a privileged position and offers plenty of space outside. The views are just amazing. The sea and a huge variety of fishes are just there, if you love snorkeling, the natural swimming pool was really much appreciated by our sons (5 and 7 years old), the small secluded beach, well equipped with sun beds and umbrellas under wonderful trees, is in our hearts! It was perfect to sit out on a summer evening just watching the sea, lights, and listening to the peace and quiet....pure heaven. The villa was well equipped, cleaners in once during the week, so nothing to complain about other than we had to come home!...perfect Villa.The house, is equipped with good quality furniture / electronics / kitchen etc. and comes with a modern, rather minimalistic interior design, offers incredibly scenic views from the kitchen and the living room. Together with my family (two adults, two children) we just spent a wonderful week at kali Skia Villa. A rental car is a must have. Within a 2-3min drive you can find 2 well equipped supermarkets - and there is no shortage of nice restaurants in the area. Georgios, the owner, helped us in arranging a boat trip and helped us with his suggestions about places to see and restaurants where to eat. The service was really a 5 star service.
