Once the hunting lodge of Count Cosimo Bernardini, this luxury Lucca villa is now an exclusive retreat in Tuscany surrounded by vast parkland, filled with antique statues, water features and fountains. This luxury Lucca villa has been completely restored and equipped with all the modern creature comforts guests could wish for whilst retaining its history and tradition.

The Space:
Inside, there are 12 bedrooms in this luxury Lucca villa, all with ensuite bathrooms. Please note that should you need extra space, some of the bedrooms can also accommodate an additional bed so that the house can accommodate up to 26 guests in total. This would be an extra charge.

Beamed ceilings, terracotta flooring and ornate windows add a huge amount of character to the home whilst the antique furnishings that have been in the Bernardini family for centuries have also been retained to provide a unique villa rental in Tuscany for guests to enjoy.

Seven of the bedrooms have double beds (170cm x 190cm), four have twin beds (which can be converted into double beds if you prefer) and the other has a French bed (140cm x 190cm). All the ensuite bathrooms have bath tubs and showers.

This luxury Lucca villa also boasts a number of living rooms, an elegant dining room, a music room with piano and guitar, billiards room, wine tasting room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Doors lead from the kitchen to a BBQ area and a large al fresco dining area with seating for up to 26 guests. This is situated in a beautiful antique courtyard overlooking a rather majestic 'peschiera' (fishpond). Also outside, there is a private swimming pool (16m x 8m and with a depth of 1.8 metres) at this luxury Lucca villa surrounded by sun loungers.

For those who like to be active on holiday, there is also a fitness suite at this luxury Lucca villa. There are also 2 tennis courts 2 minutes drive away which are shared with the guests of 5 other nearby villas. These can also be converted into soccer and volleyball fields.

In addition, within the grounds of this luxury Lucca villa there is also a separate seating area with tables for up to 24 guests in a separate courtyard overlooking the fountain and another small outdoor seating area in front of the billiards room.

This luxury Lucca villa really is an incredibly elegant property and guests will be well looked after during their stay, enjoying the services of a personal chef along with maid service. The chef service is provided 6 days a week (excludes Wednesdays) and includes the preparation of breakfast and one other meal per day. (Please note that the cost of the food is extra though and is charged at 12 euro per person for breakfast and 45-55 euro per person for dinner. The daily morning maid service is also provided 6 days a week and excludes Sundays. Guests also have access to a 24 hour concierge service. Please note that heating, A/C and electricity usage is provided up to 2000 KW per week. The client will be charged for any consumption over and above this.

The Neighborhood:
This luxury Lucca villa is just 800 metres from the nearest village - Coselli - which is easily reached on foot. Here you will find a small supermarket and restaurant. A little further away is the village of Vorno (4 km) and San Lorenzo a Vaccoli (3 km). Lucca itself is 10 minutes (6.5 km) away, Pisa is 19 km, Florence 50 km, Cinque Terre 60 km and Siena 80 km. The nearest beaches are in Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi 19 km away. For those with an interest in golf, there is a putting green 2.5 km away and a full golf course 29 km away. Tennis fans will also find a tennis club 2.5 km away. Should guests wish, we can provide bicycles for an extra charge.
