Beautiful surroundings and lodge

Perfect base to visit Bath and surrounding area. Beautiful countryside surroundings but a quick drive to the city. Lodge was spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of 6 adults. Lovely spacious deck area. We saw ducks, pheasants and deer from our lodge which was great.

The Lodge was homely and had all facilities and modern. Only thing that would make the lodge a 10 out of 10 would be cleaning blinds in the kitchen and bathroom. It was obvious they had not been done in a long time.

The lodge was very comfortable for 6 of us. Two of the bedrooms had dressing tables which was great. The lodge was well appointed with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware.

Lodge could have been slightly more comfortable - sofas so slippy they could be uncomfortable. Most of the â€˜dogâ€™ lodges has a gate but ours did not, so we couldnâ€™t let our dog out unsupervised. He did manage to sneak out to visit a passing dog but luckily came right back when we called.
