Luxury Villa Marina with private access to the sea!

Villa Marina is a luxurious holiday residence, located 3km from the center of Skala, one of the most beautiful beach resorts of Kefalonia on the South East. Close to the center of the town enjoying its nightlife, services, beaches and restaurants, still as far as needed to enjoy complete privacy, peace and serenity, ideal for relaxing holidays. Villa Marina offers a decked terrace with dining area, sunbeds, shaded by an opening pergola and a private pool with amazing sea views. It also has the special advantage of a private access to the sea, just a few steps down from the pool, where we have created a wooden deck and stairs to facilitate your access.
The careful configuration of the internal and external areas of the villa and the modern household equipment, offer to visitors countless hours of relaxation and serenity during their summer holiday. It is a newly built (completed in May 2018)
In the main house on the upper level there is a Master bedroom with en suite bathroom and a private veranda with amazing views to both sea and the pool area. The ground floor consists of a spacious living room, dining area for 4 guests and a fully equipped open kitchen. On this same floor there is a second double bedroom with openings to the pool area, as well as a second bathroom.
Offering total privacy and tranquility, still close to the most popular resort of Kefalonia, the village and beach of Skala, villa Marina can satisfy the most demanding guests and offer unforgettable memories.
There is a list of services that can be provided in the premises to you in extra cost, like private chef, massage, yoga lessons, cooking lessons and of course we can assist you in booking some of the local activities, like horse riding, boat rental, daily cruises, water sports, hiking and many more

Fabulous Stay

We spent a fabulous 10 days in this beautiful villa in August. Chris and Marina welcomed us at the villa on arrival and gave us a very thorough tour of all of the amenities ( 5 star) as well as providing us with a home made spinach pie for lunch. We were blown away by their hospitality and the fully stocked fridge and cupboards ( much of which was home made produce). The villa itself was absolutely fabulous; modern, spacious, air conditioned with all mod cons, and towels were provided, both for the pool and the beach. There was a housekeeping service twice per week and the pool was serviced every day ( before we were even up.). The pool area was simply stunning( the pictures do not do it justice) and the views were breathtaking. The highlight of the Villa for us was its location on the waters edge; a few steps down from the pool area led to a decked area on the rocks where you could jump into the crystal clear water or take out a kayak or the SUP to explore the area. The snorkelling was amazing. Simply beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend Villa Marina - Chris and Marina are the perfect hosts and have one of the most beautiful villas we have ever stayed in.

Beste Lage - tolles Haus👍

Das Haus ist einfach toll. Es ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der private Zugang zum Meer sowie das Kajak und das standupbord waren der Hammer.

A Heartwarming Getaway

My recent vacation led me to this delightful rental home, and I can't help but share the incredible experience I had. From the very first step inside, I was wrapped in a sense of warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a truly remarkable stay. The hosts had clearly poured their hearts into ensuring that every detail was perfected for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials, while the living spaces boasted tasteful decorations that radiated a cozy charm. It was evident that a great deal of care had been taken to create an ambiance that felt both inviting and homey. What truly impressed me was the impeccable cleanliness and maintenance of the entire house. Every nook and cranny was spotless, a clear reflection of the hosts' commitment to providing a pristine and hygienic environment. This dedication to cleanliness not only put me at ease but also spoke volumes about the hosts' dedication to offering an exceptional experience. The hosts themselves were equally exceptional in their warmth and hospitality. They were always on hand to address any questions I had and were generous with recommendations for local attractions and dining. Their genuine concern for my comfort made me feel like more than just a guest; I felt like I was staying with friends who truly cared. Nestled in a serene and picturesque neighborhood, the rental's location was a perfect choice for a peaceful escape.

Very relaxing stay at beautiful Luxury Villa Marina in Kefalonia

Luxury Villa Marina is an amazing property! Very clean, has everything one needs plus much much more! It is just like a resort- you can stay in by the pool or go down to swim and snorkel to the incredible natural lagoon with crystal clear water. We enjoyed listening to the cicadas in the beautiful garden with blooming flowers, fragrant jasmine and rosemary bushes, lemon/orange trees. Marina and Chris were very kind to allow us to check in earlier. Chris met us at the house, showed us around, and gave us many local businesses/restaurant recommendations. Our refrigerator was filled with necessities as well as local gems(cheese, yogurt, homemade jams) for us to try. Marina made us a pumpkins pie and delicious cookies! Our family would rate our experience with ten stars!!!! Thank you Marina and Chris for sharing your house with us!

Fantastic Stay

Where should we start with a review of this wonderful property. From the superb welcome upon our arrival, to the thank you on departure, everything was spot on for our retirement holiday with our family, six adults altogether. The house and grounds are very well maintained and offered us everything we needed and more. The six of us occupied the main house (2 bedrooms) and the self contained studio (one further bedroom). We were provided with an unexpected but thoroughly welcome food and drink package, with home made produce, cheeses, fruits, salad and veg. Bottled still and sparkling water, wine and beer, ice and ice creams. The kitchen area is quite small, and we tended to occupy this in pairs to prepare food. There’s a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, food processor, smoothie maker, sandwich toaster& kettle. In the lounge area, there’s plenty of seating for at least 6, with an enormous collection of music CDs , iTunes for streaming, a proper HiFi setup, portable Bluetooth speakers to take outside. The TV had local, foreign channels and Netflix, WiFi was fast and had a strong signal with routers in both properties. There’s also a dining table inside with adequate seating, but in all honesty we didn’t use it as we ate outside under the canopy for all our meals in. There’s air conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms too, great for cooling down after 32 degrees outside. The property boasts a super pool which is just large enough to swim a little on ones own, and was large enough for the 6 of us to have a dip and splash around. We must say that’s it’s all really well maintained, and a pool cleaner came early morning on 6 of the 7 days we were there. There are good quality sun loungers, pool towels and a couple of great inflatables to use too. At the back of the property is a gate with steps down to a private shingle beach area, and further ladders to take you down into the sea. We enjoyed the use of a canoe to explore some of the headland around, swam and snorkelled to see the abundant marine life there(fish, crabs, octopus). We didn’t hire a car, but walked into Scala(40mins), used local taxis to return. Eating out was great with plenty of local restaurants, the nearest being a 20 min stroll. As you can tell, we loved this house, Marina & Christos have thought of everything you would need for a great holiday and more. We can’t thank them enough and will certainly return. Villa with heart, style and privacy

We’re a family of five with three teenage children. We enjoyed the privacy and tasteful style of Villa Marina with private, direct access to the sea. Marina and Christos were two wonderful hosts. They made our retreat special through their warm hospitality. When we arrived late at night Christos, was still welcoming us and explained everything we needed to know. We found the kitchen stocked with plenty of food and carefully selected Greek specialities. Especially note worthy were Marina’s home made delicious treats. The villa was very well serviced and equipped with everything we could wish. We would love to come back.

Idyllic holiday property, perfect view with superb facilities

Spent a fantastic 2 weeks here, family of 5 with 3 teenage children. The pool and loungers were superb, what had clinched it for us was the private entrance to the sea for snorkelling which did not disappoint. Very well equipped with fantastic master bedroom, with balcony overlooking the sea beyond and out to Zakynthos in the distance. My wife and I took the separate adjoining house which also had wonderful views with the bed surrounded on 3 sides by huge windows with great views to wake up to once the automatic blinds were open. Very well equipped with great wifi, Netflix, big collection of music and films although we didn't watch much TV as we were there to be outside. Pool was cleaned every morning by the gardner who had been and gone by the time we opened the shutters and maid service twice a week was excellent. The owners Marina and Chris were wonderful, spending time with us telling us restaurants and places to visit and so generous leaving us lots of fruit, veg, bread and home made spreads - the cherry syrup a major highlight. This was totally unexpected but really added to the welcome. Air con all worked fine and the place felt very secure with automatic gate. We did sightseeing to the caves and local boat trips. In terms of restuarants Old Times was about 15-20 mins walk and well worth it - we went 3 times, Skala is probably too far to walk, but taxis are plentiful and we hired a car - took 5 mins. There is very good barbeque and we ate in a few times as well as cooking pizzas in the oven. A great holiday home and we hope to return.

Great location , modern comfortable villa with delightful direct access to a lovely Clearwater bay.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week at Villa Marina. Modern and luxury villa with attractive gardens , decking and swimming pool with steps down to a private cove, beautiful clear water for swimming and snorkelling and just a quick drive to Skala shops and restaurants . Hosts Marina and Christos were very helpful and welcoming. A very enjoyable week and somewhere we would be happy to return too.

Absolutely perfect

We have spent ten wonderful days in Villa Marina in Cephallonia. It met all our expectations. The villa is a luxury new house decorated with good taste and fully equipped with anything you can think of. The fantastic view from the terrace and from every room of the house and its easy private access to an incredibly beautiful sea made our stay unforgettable. We enjoyed eating outside by the pool and the siesta under the magnificent carubo tree of the garden. We thank Marina and Christos for the warm welcome and for making our stay perfect.
