We had a wonderful family holiday at Hemera. The villa was comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The pool was much appreciated by the family and the outdoor kitchen and seating area were ideal.

We loved our stay at villa Hemera! The villa is spacious, bright and clean with everything you need. The location is lovely and peaceful, and a 15 minute walk along a quiet little road to the beach front and restaurants. The owners were responsive and kind. We would certainly stay again!

This was our 4th time staying at Hemera over the last 10 years. It is an excellent villa with everything you would want, in a friendly small town, with plenty of great restaurants, bakery and mini markets around. The hosts are excellent.

Wonderful stay

A happy return

I have stayed at this Villa a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay. It is in a lovely position, very peaceful yet within easy walking distance of all the facilities. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Excellent villa

We had a great holiday and the villa was fab. It was an easy walk to the supermarket and the bakery and was also not too far to walk to the restaurants along the front (except for my teenage children!) . Lovely location and would recommend. Excellent host and very quick to respond when we had a query.

Amazing villa, well maintained and equipped and immaculately clean. Pool is a big and loads of outdoor space. Air con works brilliantly. About a 5 minute walk to a couple of nice restaurants and an amazing bakery. Shop close buy too, well stocked but a bit expensive. 15 to 20 min walk to the front of Katelios which has about 10 restaurants, all we tried were really good. Beach a similar distance with crystal clear water. If travelling to Katelios again, would definitely stay here.

Great Villa, Location & Host

We loved the Villa! Great location & easy to walk to shops/excursion bus stop & bakery (all within 5-7mins) & then additional 10mins to walk into town for the beachfront tavernas. Delighted to have a linen change twice in a 7-night stay - great service. Loved the welcome pack & early check-in flexibility. Communication with host or Spiros was fast & helpful. We’d love to re-book in the future, a peaceful resort 💕🇬🇷💃🍷xx

Lovely Villa

A lovely, clean villa in a great location. 15-20 minutes walk to the beach and the supermarket and local taverna was within a 5 minute walk. The property was cleaned very frequently during our two week stay, including the pool. The pool was very large and the outdoor space was fantastic. Katelios is a lovely quiet area with enough facilities for all the essentials plus lots of choices for places to eat out. We had a wonderful holiday.

Spacious villa with good aircon. Well equipped kitchen. Maid service twice whilst we were there. Great outside space with barbecue and two seating areas plus sunbeds. Comfortable beds. We did have an issue with the pool but it was sorted out during our stay. Excellent help from the local representatvie Dimitris. Wifi was patchy at times.It's about a 20 minute walk down to the beautiful small sandy beach and restaurants. Sunbeds were available here at a cost.The food was excellent here and reasonably priced. A great bakery about 10 minutes walk from the villa too and three small supermarkets. A very enjoyable stay ina quiet peaceful village.

Perfect holiday villa

Spiros couldn’t do enough to make our stay at the villa the perfect holiday. The villa was really clean with excellent facilities and very well equipped. We stayed a week and were pleasantly surprised that they came in twice to clean and change sheets and towels during that time with the pool being cleaned daily. Really nothing was too much trouble from the day we made our booking the the time we checked out. The villa is situated in a quiet area with sea views about 10/15 minutes walk to the main restaurant area but a well stocked mini market is just 5 minutes walk and Spiros’s fabulous bakery and cafe just a bit further. All in all a wonderful relaxing holiday villa managed by lovely people. We can highly recommend.

Great stay at Villa Hemera

Beautiful located and comfortable villa for a family stay. Plenty of eating options within 15 minutes walk. Several days spent with our 21month old granddaughter enjoying the lovely clean and sandy Mounda Beach, only 15 minutes drive away. Cleaning services were excellent. The beds and towels were changed three times during our 10 day stay and the pool was cleaned regularly. Great starter pack on arrival which included a bottle of white wine! The kitchen was very well equipped. An information book about the villa would have been useful. We had some minor problems which were quickly resolved by Spiro, the local baker. There was no ipod docking station, but we did not miss it. We also received no directions before departure on how to get to the villa from the airport, but Google maps sufficed.

A firm favourite

I have stayed in Villa Hermera many times, with my husband and with friends. It is always a treat to stay here. The friendliness of the owners, their welcome and helpfulness is second to none. The villa is in a quiet spot, but just a short walk to the beach and a number of tavernas. The only reason I don’t stay here more often is because it is usually booked up!! Clearly many people have the same view as me. It is perfect

It is a very high end villa, very comfortable, AC in every room. Very clean, very well equipped kitchen. Cleaning service 2 times in the week. a welcome package when we arrived food, drinks and washing up liquid. Lovely little villa

The villa was lovely and had everything we needed to have a relaxing holiday. The walk to the beachfront was around a 20 minute stroll but there was a little taverna within a 5 minute walk that served good food.

Traumhafte Villa, die keine Wünsche offen lässt

Wir mieten für den Urlaub mit unseren Kindern immer Ferinhäuser, aber noch nie hatten wir das Gefühl, dass die Vermieter sich so sehr in unsere Bedürfnisse hineinversetzt haben, wie bei der Villa Hemera. Die Bilder in der Anzeige sind nicht geschönt, es ist wirklich alles so perfekt, wie auf den Fotos. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und man kann sich immer an sie wenden, was bei uns jedoch nicht nötig war. Für Kleinkinder sind ein Hochstuhl und ein Reisebettchen vorhanden und am Zugang zur Treppe im zweiten Stock gibt es ein Treppenschutzgitter. In der Küche fehlen weder Knoblauchpresse noch Kartoffelschäler und Kaffeetrinker können zwischen einer Filtermaschine und einer French Press wählen. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es einen Teller mit frischem Obst und Nesskaffee und im Kühlschrank waren Milch, Schinken, Käse und Toastbrot für leckere Sandwiches aus dem Sandwichmaker und sogar eine Flasche Wein. Auch Geschirrspülmittel, Spülmaschinentabs und Waschmittel mussten wir nicht kaufen. Zu jedem der bequemen Betten gibt es zwei unterschiedlich harte Kopfkissen. Badehandtücher waren reichlich vorhanden und währen unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts wurde die Villa zwei mal geputzt, wobei auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt wurden. Selbst der Pool wurde mehrfach gereinigt und ist in so perfektem Zustand wie auf den Fotos. Unsere Kinder haben schon bei der Abreise gesagt, dass sie wiederkommen wollen und wir natürlich auch.

The property was ideal for six of us with plenty of room and excellent facilities.

During our week stay we were expecting some poor weather and we did get it for a couple of days,however the remaining five were bright and warm enough to lie by the pool and take an occasional dip.With it being mid October we did not expect many places to be open,but to be fair there were several Restaurants and bars a ten minute walk away in the village on the Harbour front.And a ten minute drive to Skala gave even more choice(also a nice walk down a coastal track and across the beach).The owners of the Villa were extremely helpful and very nice to talk to.The hamper of food etc left for us was excellent and had everything we needed upon arrival.Some of the local attractions were restricted to certain days of the week as it was late in the season but if you plan early there are still things to do.We managed to fit in a boat trip and a visit to some caves.We would definitely use villa Hemera again.

Amazing villa, brilliant location and perfect hosts

Upon arrival we were greeted by our host Eirini. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The villa itself is modern, extremely clean and good sized rooms. The pool is also a great size with plenty of comfy sun beds outside. The Villa was cleaned every couple of days, the cleaner was very thorough and the pool was cleaned everyday. You can walk to the local shop, restaurants and sea front very easily. The villa is far enough away from the front and main road though meaning it is quiet and peaceful. A special mention to Eirini and the owners. Halfway through our trip there was a dangerous wildfire in the cliffs which was spreading. The owners acted very quickly and moved us to a friends apartment in Lourdas for the night as we have a young child and the fumes could have been dangerous. It’s a good thing they acted so quickly too, the roads out of Katelios were closed shortly after, meaning we would have had to stay there for the night. The fire was tackled over night and we were moved back into the Villa the next day. Absolutely superbly handled. We will 100% be revisiting Katelios and this Villa. If I could rate higher than 5* I would!

Comfortable and clean.

On the whole the villa was acceptable, but bearing in mind the rental charged, and with a bit more thought, it should be a lot better. The upstairs double bedrooms had no mirror or dressing table that made it very difficult to do hair, make up etc. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, the shower in the twin room upstairs had a curtain that was impossible to use when the shower was on so consequently the bathroom got soaked. We were a party of six adults, unfortunately the weather on occasions during our stay was very wet and we had to dine in the villa but the table and kitchen area is very small and we found it quite difficult for everyone to sit comfortably. However, the villa was very clean and the cleaning lady was excellent and the outside pool area was maintained well. The owners were very nice and reacted promptly to all our requests.

Lovely villa in a good spot, clean, great pool

A lovely villa, in a quiet spot with distant sea views. Great pool, great sized plot for the kids to play. Nice hosts (good communication, a personal welcome, and helped us when we lost a favourite teddy). Villa is well furnished with comfortable, quality beds, sofas and sunbeds etc. Kept very clean by the cleaner every other day (including bed changes). The walk into Katelios is down a quiet lane and took us 20-25 minutes (rather than the stated 10 minutes). We did feel we needed a car as it was too far to walk and carry water, food etc. The mini market on the main road is cheaper/better than in Katelios itself. And there is a great bakery along the road from it. Lots of restaurants along the beach front in Katelios, all have similar menus. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach between courses.

Helios Villas is a complex of two private and independent villas.

The two villas, Villa Hemera and Villa Nyx, are next to each other but they are completely independent. The villas are identical but each-one features its own private pool with poolside facilities and furnitures such as parasols and sun-loungers. outdoor furnished sitting and dinning areas, garden and BBQ are also available. Each villa has its own entrance gate, driveway and secure parking.
