Luxury apartment in Central Lichfield. Free parking. Sleeps 1 to 6 people + dogs

I’m originally from the Midlands, and I’ve always had a deep love for beautiful spaces, storytelling, and the feeling of being “at home” wherever you are. My background is in fashion design and writing, and over the years that creative eye has naturally evolved into creating interiors that feel both luxurious and comforting. Hosting allows me to combine all the things I value most — style, comfort, and connection — and to share them with others in a genuine way.

What I enjoy most about being a host is the transformation that happens when guests walk through the door and immediately relax. I love creating that sense of calm and welcome — fresh flowers, soft lighting, carefully chosen textures — small details that turn a stay into an experience. I believe a great stay isn’t just about a lovely property, but how it makes you feel.

When I’m not hosting, you’ll usually find me exploring the cafés around Lichfield, taking long walks near the cathedral, or working on creative projects that inspire me — from writing and photography to planning the next design for one of my spaces. I adore travel and the sense of discovery that comes with meeting new people from all over the world. Hosting brings that same joy home; it’s like travelling in reverse — the world comes to your doorstep.

I take pride in being a hands-on host who cares deeply about guest comfort. Every stay matters to me, and I genuinely want people to leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and a little more at peace than when they arrived. Lichfield is such a beautiful place to share — full of history, charm, and character — and it’s a privilege to help others experience it through a home that reflects its warmth and elegance.

The scene around my property in Lichfield feels like stepping into a perfectly balanced world — where history, charm, and tranquillity live side by side. The cobbled streets lead to graceful Georgian townhouses and boutique cafés, while the sound of cathedral bells drifts softly through the air. From early morning walks by Stowe Pool, where the sunlight ripples across the water, to the golden glow that lights the three spires at dusk, there’s a peaceful rhythm here that never fails to calm the mind.

What I enjoy most is how everything feels connected — you can stroll from a quiet garden path to the heart of the city within minutes. There’s always something happening, yet never the rush or chaos of a big city. The market square hums with life: flower stalls, artisan breads, and the friendly murmur of locals who always seem to have time for a chat. Just beyond, the cafés spill onto pavements, offering perfect corners to sit with a coffee, people-watch, and breathe in the gentle pace of the day.

Evenings are my favourite. The cathedral lights up like a storybook backdrop while restaurants and wine bars come alive with warmth and conversation. Sometimes I wander to Beacon Park — a jewel of green lawns and lakes — and watch families, joggers, and couples enjoying the space. It reminds me why I love this area so much: it has heart. It’s a place that feels lived in, loved, and beautifully human.

From Barton Marina’s tranquil waterside dining to the winding countryside walks just minutes away, the setting offers both sophistication and serenity. What makes it so special to me is that Lichfield allows you to slow down and still feel inspired. Every visit, every stroll, every quiet evening reinforces that this isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel genuinely at peace.

What makes this property truly unique is how effortlessly it combines luxury, comfort, and a sense of home. Tucked away in the heart of Lichfield, this beautifully designed Coach House offers something special — the independence of your own detached space with the refinement and attention to detail of a boutique hotel. Every element has been thoughtfully created to make guests feel both indulged and at ease.

The interiors balance modern design with warmth: light-filled rooms, elegant décor, and plush furnishings that invite you to relax. The main bedroom features a sumptuous king-size bed dressed in hotel-quality linen, while the large open-plan living area offers versatile sleeping options for families or groups, with two generous sofa beds that maintain comfort without compromise. The atmosphere feels contemporary yet calm, with soft tones, curated artwork, and subtle touches that give the home its own personality.

Unlike many city stays, this property gives you complete privacy. You have the entire building to yourself — private entrance, free residential parking right outside, and thoughtful extras like high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen for dining in. Every detail, from the quality of the bedding to the scent of fresh flowers, has been chosen to elevate the experience.

Its location is another rare advantage: just moments from Lichfield’s historic cathedral, quaint cafés, and boutique shops, yet in a peaceful residential setting where you can truly unwind. Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or business travel, the home adapts to you — spacious, stylish, and wonderfully central.

What makes this place stand out most is the feeling it gives: a mix of freedom, calm, and quiet luxury. Guests often say it feels like stepping into a hidden gem — a home designed not just for a stay, but for memorable moments.
