This suite was nice, don’t judge it from the street when you enter. The location was not bad close to lots of good dining options as well as pubs.The floors needed a really good cleaning was our only fault for this suite.The kitchen was fairly well stocked if you choose to prepare meals in as we did.

Spacious one bedroom apartment on first floor with easy access via a lift. Very good location opposite the ruins of The Glasgow School of Art.

The Art Flat - Central Glasgow

A very comfortable stay in a prime location central to everything. Great public transport closeby, shops, restaurants and things to do and see. The flat was comfortable and clean with everything you will need for a week's stay. Would book with them agaiN!

Great Downtown Location

Beautiful light-filled apartment in a great location close to restaurants, stores, and sites. The apartment had everything we needed. Owner assisted us to know where to look for parking. Excellent communication.

Lovely apartment in very convenient location. Host was very responsive. Only critique involves the comfort of the bed. Felt like a futon and the pillows were dense. Aside from that, lovely apartment. We would stay again.

So much good stuff to say here. The flat itself is comfortable and spacious, any traveller would appreciate all the amenities. I loved the big windows, and witnessing all the nightlife just outside the door. Location is simply the best, especially for music lovers, so close to all the prime venues. Be forewarned, it's known to be a busy area and can be noisy at night, but I loved the buzz. Correspondence with Gillian was superb, she was always prompt and considerate. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Spacious, clean, and convenient

This apartment is beautiful—clean, bright energy; excellent amenities; convenient to all forms of public transportation and for getting around on foot. Communication with the owner was efficient and easy—extremely responsive to questions. It is in a lively section of City Centre, so evenings can be a bit noisy if you’re an early-to-bed type; if you love to go out in the evening, you’ll love the location!

My overall impression of this property was very good. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, and the location was good in terms of being walkable to the various parts of the city. The overall cleanliness of the apartment could have been better. The internet connection was not high speed, which was a big problem for me trying to work--I had to use my own data or go to Starbucks. (If all you need is to check your email and do Google searches, it's perfectly fine.) And the street noise was loud--especially in the evening with people being rowdy (there is a bar across the street). Once that closed it was nice and quiet. I recommend the apartment, with the caveats of the noise at night and the poor internet connection.

On arrival, the space was very inviting. We did appreciate the cooking oil and salt and pepper so we could cook some food there. The bedroom mattress really needs replacing. Also, the flat pillows on the bed, should be replaced. The noise level on the street was horrid. I did notice some earplugs lying on the counter but I cannot sleep with those in my ears. The street noise continued most nights, until about 3 am. The whole place could do with some hooks to hang damp towels, robes, etc. Ended up throwing them over the doors because there was absolutely no where else to put them. All in all, I would give it a 4 rating. If the things I mentioned were alleviated, I would give it a 5, for sure.

We were cursed from the start with this residence. Communication on the Vrbo app was poor. The arrival and departure information was never forwarded to us due to the link being inactive. Despite several communication attempts with the owner we never got the necessary document. As a result we had to figure out on our own the nuances of the Glasgow flat from a Canadian perspective. Hot water and a poor flushing toilet added to our problems. Poor quality and old mattress led to poor sleeps in conjunction with the flat being located on a major party street in Glasgow. Wifi access was non existent due to never receiving the password info. Bathroom was ill kept with splashed walls and a dirty medicine cabinet. Overall cleanliness of the flat was poor, including the entrance area to the apartment. Furniture was thrift store quality and dining rooms chairs were unstable and rickety for anyone over 150 lbs. Overall the apartment was very disappointing and had a negative impact on our stay in Glasgow. The flat itself has great bones but is in dyer need of a redo. It has great potential to be something special if the owner is willing to invest some time and money into it.
