Welcome to our house by the creek! We hope you enjoy your time relaxing by the babbling creek. The house has been completely renovated with upgraded amenities for your comfort and enjoyment.

The cabin is located in Christopher Creek, just under 2 hours from Phoenix, AZ, nestled in the scenic Rim Country just outside of Payson, AZ. Come enjoy a relaxing weekend or weekly getaway. For the nature lover, fill your days with the many outdoor adventures close by or kick back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Christopher Creek, as it runs right off the back deck.

The stone fireplace is the main feature in the kitchen/family room. Two bedrooms are located off the family room area. The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. The upstairs master bedroom also offers a king bed and a full bathroom. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds and a full bathroom right across the hall. The bonus room has a bunk bed (twin over full).

The kitchen is well equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and basic provisions such as seasonings, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Home also features a washer and dryer.

Relax and enjoy the large deck overlooking scenic Christopher Creek. Read a book, nap in a lounger or sit around and play cards at the table.

Outside you will find a fire pit and a large gas grill.

Fully furnished with all amenities , bedding, towels, and WiFi.

If you don't feel like cooking while on vacation there is are 2 great restaurants just 1/2 mile away.

Summer temperatures fluctuate for Payson. Christopher Creek is a bit cooler especially being next to the creek. We recommend opening both patio doors for cross ventilation of fresh air.

Cabin was clean and ready for our stay. There was a lot of options for spices and condiments that helped with our stay. The stream behind the cabin gave a good abidance.

Throughly enjoyed ourselves here over the weekend there is plenty of room for the kids to play and sitting out side at dinner time with the family was awesome under the patio we had the grill going lights on and then played games afterwards , end the night with a movie.

A truly wonderful, beautiful, and amazing experience. Quiet, calm, and relaxing for sure. You need to get away from the city and reset yourself this is the place. House is amazing, roomy, clean, and offers everything one needs to enjoy a quiet getaway. This place is for those that literally want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I stocked a cooler made sure I had all I needed for a weekend. Refill your tank of gas in payson and you’ll be set for the weekend.Hit woods canyon lake only 30mins away. Great spot for fishing and taking in the scenery.

We have stayed at Kevin's place several times. We had a nice relaxing visit on Easter weekend with our family of 5 and in laws. We love the house and location. Very spacious and the creek brings a lot of relaxation. Kevin is a great host! Thank you for a great stay again Kevin!

Easy to drive to (no steep hills), we walked and explored all of Christopher Creek from the house, we all loved the porch and homey feeling of the house and only 15-20min to Woods Canyon lake. We will definitely be staying again.

The location was lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the creek. Even had the elk walk by and grazed out in the front yard. The cabin is well stocked. Welcome instructions were detailed and clear. This was a girlfriend's trip. We all said that the Cake Creek Cabin would be a great place to bring our families to.

Our annual Book Club in the Pines was a huge success. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cabin, and really loved the outdoor space by the creek. We are already planning our next year’s book club visit here.
