Luxury Barn Conversion in Private Rural Setting Sleeping 18
Welcome to West Barn Lodge!
Situated on our family farm in South Wiltshire, West Barn Lodge was originally comprised of a derelict 19th century stone threshing barn and dairy. Today it has been lovingly converted into a luxury nine bedroom holiday home for up to 18 guests that provides an oasis of calm overlooking the rolling hills of Fovant. The Lodge and its expansive grounds are let exclusively so you will have the place entirely to yourself. This includes:
- 9 super-king ensuite bedrooms
- Games room with pool table
- Main hall with dining for up to 32 guests around our bespoke made rustic tables
- Mezzanine / TV snug
- Outdoor Terrace with large dining table
- Courtyard with fire pit and unspoilt views of the beautiful countryside and the famous Fovant Badges.
- Hot Tub
- Lawn
We offer the Lodge for self catered stays as standard, however, the kitchen is fully equipped for caterers or private chefs if you are wishing to host a celebratory meal or catering for your stay.
Each of the nine bedrooms come with super king beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath and shower. Seven of our bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with direct access to a wrap around terrace. Snuggle down for a peaceful nights sleep and wake to beautiful undisturbed views across the Fovant Downs.
Our two largest bedrooms are located upstairs and offer space for small children or a baby cot. We can also split a number of our beds to twins on request prior to your stay.
Sitting just next door to the Lodge is The Dutch Barn, our most recent conversion. Previously a double Dutch Barn used for storing grain it is now an inviting and thoughtfully renovated space which can be hired for weddings, parties, celebrations, team building, yoga, wellness retreats and everything in-between. We have ample private parking for 100+ cars at The Lodge and can offer electric vehicle charging for a weekend usage fee.

Hi , we are Barney and Pippa! A husband and wife team who run West Barn Lodge as a joint venture bringing our love of hosting, reclamation and creating beautiful spaces together with a series of barn conversions in the Cranborne Chase AONB.
As a family run farming business that has worked within the hospitality industry for the past sixty years hosting is part of what we have always done. In addition Barney is the fifth generation to work the farm so this land has always been part of his life. Over the past decade we have worked to further diversify the farm by adding West Barn Lodge on one of our unused sites.
When undertaking this project Barney was able to use his skills in building and reclamation to create wonderfully individual spaces whilst Pippa used her background in Set Design to fill those spaces and make them welcoming.
