About this property

Fiorina charming villa with private beach

Villa Fiorina is located in the centre of Ghiffa directly by the lake. It is a period villa that has just been completely and luxuriously renovated, combining all modern comforts with the charm of a period villa. The villa has a large garden with beautiful flowering plants and also a huge eucalyptus tree, a plant of rare beauty. In the garden there is a well-equipped barbecue area with two dining tables and a small relaxation table on a terrace directly in front of the lake under the eucalyptus. The old dock has been converted into a relaxation area, so on the roof of the dock at garden level there is a lounge for relaxing with a lake view. . From this level by descending two different staircases one arrives at the lake level, where there is the private beach of the property, equipped with sunbeds. A new relaxation area has been created inside the old dock with deckchairs and mattresses for relaxing in the shade, but only a few steps away from the beach and the water. The villa is on three levels. On the garden level from the entrance there is a small sitting room, a small gym, a service bathroom with a separate shower (serving the outdoor areas and the solarium,) and a fully equipped dining room with a view of the lake, which in bad weather allows you to dine by the barbecue. Also on this floor is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, a recreation room with various games for children, and another 'cinema' room with a large screen. Going up to the first floor we find the wonderful period lounge with a small sitting room in front of a purely decorative fireplace, a piano (decorative) and a large seating area overlooking the lake. Also on this floor is a dining room with a large table and a well-equipped kitchen as well as a small bathroom. Here we also find two bedrooms, the first with a double bed and en suite bathroom with tub, the second double with en suite bathroom with shower and a small terrace with table and chairs, both with lake views. Going up to the top floor we find a small service bathroom, a large living room with a well-equipped kitchen, a small dining table and a sofa that becomes a double bed with TV. On this floor there are 3 bedrooms, the first is a very large double bedroom with also a single bed, the second is a bedroom with 3 single beds, next to these two bedrooms there is a large bathroom with both bath and shower. Lastly there is the master suite with double bed, en suite bathroom with large shower and a front balcony overlooking the lake furnished with chairs and small table. Near the entrance gate, inside the fenced property, there is a large parking area for 4 cars. In 5 minutes by car you reach Verbania with all services and in 15 minutes you reach Cannobio. Villa Fiorina is a pearl of the highest level directly by the lake, ideal for a relaxing holiday for discerning guests who enjoy all the comforts, the charm of the property is truly unique. Sheets, towels and pool towels included in the price. Bathrobe and slippers, welcome kit courtesy set included in the price.

Relaxing Ghiffa Lakeside Villa

Lovely stay at this property right on the lake. The villa itself was spacious and gorgeous. We had 2 families.. 4 adults and 3 teens, and there was space left over for more people. The property had lovely views of the lake from the property and many of the rooms. We could have just stayed at the villa the whole time and been perfectly content with the views, the villa, and swimming in the lake. There were several good restaurants in walking distance. Some of them were up the hill, and Google maps showed you had to walk on the road, but really there are staircases that are shortcuts to get to the restaurants that doesn't show the maps. Unfortunately, the lake levels were significantly higher than was pictured, as the water came all the way to the wall. But my trip was in June, and it was affected by the snowmelt. The only thing I didn't care for was getting in and out of the villa complex. It's a moderately busy road and hard to see coming out. But that's a general Italy lake district problem, as many of the roads are narrow (and windy). We ended up walking to the restaurants and lake ferry, but generally needed a car to get anywhere else. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend to others to try.
