Short stay due to Coronavirus, but loved the apartment and location.

We had the unfortunate timing of visiting just prior to the Coronavirus lockdown and travel bans and spent a week locked down in this apartment before flying out early, but we were still happy with the apartment. Mario was wonderful and the apartment was everything we hoped for. Would love to come back again for the vacation that was missed.

Mario was helpful

LOCATION, LOCATION. This apartment is just off Las Ramblas and the plaza. We are seniors but managed the narrow staircase. As a bonus Mario was there when we arrived and left and he carried our luggage.

The BEST Location!

We stayed a month here and it was fantastic! Communication with Mario was great. Great property fit our needs perfectly! Mere steps from all of the action - restaurants, shops, La Rambla, etc. That said, at times there was street noise late at night - mostly celebratory! We are in our late 50s and fit, but if you have severe mobility issues, the narrow spiral stairwell (common in Europe) will be challenging. If not, enjoy!

Great stay!

Overall an amazing month in Barcelona! Mario was a great host and waited for us very late because of a long flight delay. The apartment is in the best location of the city, Plaza Catalunya! It was spotless, modern and very comfortable. The stairs take some getting used to, but was no problem. The AC and wifi were fantastic, as was the clothes washer and dryer. The only negative was the lack of natural sunlight because the next building was so close. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any friend or family member going to Barcelona to stay with Mario!

Brilliant!

Nothing but good things to say. Mario was friendly, communicative and helpful. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything I needed, including fast WiFi. The location is perfect for seeing the sights of Barcelona, very close to important transport routes. I would highly recommend it except in the following circumstances: 1) if you have reduced mobility, as the staircase is narrow and there is no lift 2) if you need a stable mobile phone (instead of WiFi) signal – I found a lack of consistent reception at the apartment. But if neither of those apply to you, then this is a great place to stay and good value for money, too.

Location, Location, Location

I stayed at Mario's apartment from mid-July through mid-Aug. I found the apartment to be quite charming, very clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. Mario himself was very helpful and accommodating. After the first few days, I felt right at home. The stair case, at first, was a little intimidating but after a few up and down climbs it became a normal part of life at the apartment. I give my highest recommendation and plan to return next year.

Ottima posizione e casa molto accogliente!!!

La casa è centralissima e ben collegata,nonostante sia piccolina è perfetta per due persone e dotata di tutto il necessario.Mario il padrone di casa è disponibile,serio e gentilissimo,le comunicazioni con lui sono state precise e puntuali.Le scale per accedere all'appartamento come segnalato nell'annuncio sono a chiocciola,ma dopo qualche giorno ci si abitua. Consiglio a tutti questa location io ci sono stata per quasi un mese.TUTTO OTTIMO,SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!!

Great Apartment

The apartment in the Gothic quarter was exactly as pictured. Just off of the major road, la Rambla. The apartment was spacious and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. We had an excellent time and would recommend this place to anyone.

The best location you could ever have!

best location! Really nice apartment. It was clean when we arrived and Mario was very helpful. It's not on a noisy street, especially at night. The stairs might be a bit difficult at first but you get used to it, so do your legs! close to the metro, placa catalunya, and the gothic area. Very convenient and very nice apartment. Will stay here again and will recommend this to others!! thank you Mario!!

Wonderful location. Wonderful apt.

This apt is perfect for two people who want to be in the heart of the historic gothic area on a quiet pedestrian street just one block from the action. The layout of the apt is perfect. The bedroom is separated from the living room with a half wall, so there is a sense of privacy while keeping the space open. My two favorite parts of the apt, besides the location, is the couch and the bed. Both were so comfortable to come home to. The kitchen was well equipped although we did not cook. The washer/dryer was a real perk, and the bath area looked brand new. Mario was easy to work with, fast emails, good instructions for getting from the airport to the apt. He was there when we arrived and left, so he handled our luggage for us (so we can't complain about the stairs!). The apt is warm and cosy with the dark woods and reds. Very lovely spot.
