Enjoy the place and the nearby amenities. The house is spacious has all comfort you could possibly expect in a modern house. Peace and quiet. Central AC and heating, high speed internet, 2 latest technology TV sets and many appliances to help making you feel at home. You’ll have the benefit of being in the Algarve and enjoying the Algarve climate with its gentle winter feeling like Northern European summer but being sheltered from the over developed areas and big crowds. The house is located in the centre of our orange farm. The farm offers peace and quietness and if you walk around the property you may bump into a hare or partridge, enjoy orange flowers.

The apartment was first class, the pools were great fun and the views were stunning. It was such a relaxing holiday. The host was very attentive, warm and friendly. The new BBQ area with a large table and seating is a great addition. We had such a wonderful time and are planning to go back. 10/10

The best holiday villa we have experienced

We are just back from a two week stay at Orange Grove Residence, with our two teenage daughters, and have had a wonderful time. The accommodation feels extremely quiet and relaxing; however, it is only a 5 minutes’ drive to Silves, the nearest town. The location of this villa is perfect if you want to travel around Portugal with your hire car. It was also easy to locate on our drive there from the airport. A major benefit is parking underneath the accommodation, in the hot midday sun this is a god send as it kept the car much cooler. It has two shared pools, a toddler/young child rectangular one which gradually increases in depth up to 1m and a large round 1.6m deep pool, both are salt water which I have to say I hadn’t realised. My youngest daughter who literally spent all her time at the accommodation in the pool has eczema and every time we have been away it flares up because of the chlorine, however not this time, no flareups at all. We all enjoyed the beautiful views around the pool, it made for an incredibly relaxing pool experience. We had a few walks around the grounds and amongst the trees. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we could possibly need. Filipe had even left us a welcome basket. We have stayed in many self-catering villas throughout the years, and I can honestly say this was by far the best we have experienced. The quality is second to none and Filipe is the most genuine and perfect host. Thank you Filipe.

The orange farm has been in place for a long time. The owning family has decided to have a brand new building with all amenities proper of modern life in the centre of its vast farm. The guests are welcomed by family members and we do very much enjoy welcoming our guests

Why they chose this property

We are natives of the area. No question of why choosing this area. We belong here.

What makes this property unique

We have all comfort and utilities and appliances available as the latest technology enables it. In this count we are certainly 5 star. Additionally we make available two swimming pools for what is a potentially very small number of guests. The sunbeds in place outnumber the potential maximum number of guests. We put in place a garden featuring only local plants well adapted to the hot and dry climate. This garden encircles the building and integrates well with the wider orange trees. We have circa 20,000 trees and guests are invited to walk and explore inside our property as an extended and reclusive garden. This is a gated property which is opened only to expected guests.
