With lake views and a fabulous hot tub, this two bedroom holiday lodge is just perfect for small families and couples looking for a place to relax and unwind.

As soon as you step inside you will love how cosy and welcoming it is. With a light an airy open plan living area and windows looking out over the lake and fells, along with a fantastic outside terrace – can you imagine being anyway else? High View Lodge is in a truly stunning location and a delightful place to enjoy a few days away..

High View is accessed by 4 steps. All the deck is one level
Please bring own towels for use of hot tub
Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request for an additional £10 per item (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
Please be aware that a travel cot will only fit in the living area. There is not enough space in the bedrooms.
Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21
High View has a small second bedroom and is only really suitable for young children, or a single person.

Perfection!

We had the most perfect stay at the High View Lodge. The view was stunning, and the area so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, comfortable beds and a fabulous hot tub.

Beautiful lodge with gorgeous views

We had a lovely stay here. The property was exactly as described, cosy & compact but perfect for our family. It was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The views from the lounge and hot tub were stunning.

3 days with my two grandkids

We had a wonderful stay in the lodge. Not one complaint. The view of the lake was perfect. My two grandchildren loved it. Especially the hot tub. Would definitely book again.

Best holiday

Best holiday ever. It was love at first sight. I'm in love with the hot tub. Can't wait for next year to come back, maybe I can book it for New Year or Christmas to come with the family.

Perfect first family break

We stayed at high view lodge and and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay. The view alone would bring us back. The lodge itself was really comfortable, homely and spotless. It was stocked with plates, mugs, cups, cutlery and everything you need to cook. The Holiday park which it’s situated on was brilliant too, we thought as we were staying when the schools went back that there wouldn’t be any entertainment in the evening but there was something different every night which was great!

Easter holidays break

4 night mid week break in the Easter holidays. We booked with a special offer so was a reasonable price for school holidays. The lodge is in a lovely area of the park near to the lake. The lodge is nice, but is compact compared to others - I would describe more as a big static caravan. Stayed with my husband and 2 sons aged 8 & 11. We dropped on with gorgeous weather so were outside a lot, but would have been a bit cramped if we were inside a lot in worse weather. The hot tub was gorgeous and had a lovely lake view. Recommend this lodge, but more for a couple or small / young family.

High View is a cute two bedroom holiday lodge with lake views, a fantastic hot tub and spacious terrace. Our website page for High View does advise guests that it has a small second bedroom and is really only suitable for young children or a single adult. As you rightly say, ideally it is for a small family or a couple. We are delighted to note you were here when we had fantastic weather and made the most of being outdoors - and enjoyed the beautiful lake views from the lodge. Great weekend but lodge had issues

We had a lovely time at White Cross Bay and the lovely weather really helped. The location of our lodge gave us a good view of the lake and was adjacent to one where my daughter and her family were staying. The lodge itself was rather smaller than the impression given by the on-line pictures. Also the TV in the bedroom didn’t work and one of the settees was rather rickety. The main issue was with locking the doors as it was very difficult to lock them and we had to get our son-in-law to do it for us. I would definitely stay at White Cross Bay again as it is u a magnificent location but not in this lodge.

Thank you for your review Rodney. We were sorry to hear there were a few things not quite as expected and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We do find that when it is sunny the doors tend to expand and therefore makes it a little harder to open and close. Had you called us we would have gladly come to check and sometimes we can fiddle with the doors to ease them. That said we shall check the doors along with the sofa and tv. Thank you for letting us know and we are pleased that you enjoyed White Cross Bay.

Lovely stay at High View lodge

We enjoyed our stay at High View lodge very much. The lodge was lovely and "cosy" great for maybe two adults and two small children, or three adults but no more. It was lovely and clean!! (I am fussy) It is positioned in a great little spot on the park, with a wonderful view of the lake. An added bonus too was having a hot tub which was great! The lodge is also well positioned to easily get about and explore the Lakes. If you do not want to take the car, then there is a bus stop outside the park, with frequent buses. The one thing I would suggest is maybe the lodge could do with a welcome pack,. When we have stayed at other places, we have always found these to be extremely helpful especially if you do not know the area. We will definitely be booking again to stay here, I have even recommended it to friends.
