This beautifully refurbished (August 2023) detached bungalow offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set in a quiet residential area just a 7-minute walk from Padstow Harbour. Ideal for families and couples, the property is pet friendly and features a fully enclosed garden with plenty of lawn space for children and dogs to enjoy.
Accommodation includes:
A king-size bedroom with en-suite
A double bedroom with en-suite
A twin bedroom adjacent to the main bathroom
The home has been fully modernized over the past 14 months to create a bright, open-plan living space with a sociable, airy layout. It’s both energy-efficient and comfortable year-round, thanks to underfloor heating via air source heat pump, a wood burner, improved insulation, and solar panels with battery storage. Hot water is supplied by PV solar, backed up by the heat pump.

Fantastic property, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Ideal position to go to Padstow harbour as well, all though it was a lot steeper than we realised to get down and back! Great place to stay, quite central to other attractions in Cornwall as well. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely fantastic. We’ve holidayed in and around Padstow at least once every year for the past 15 years and I can easily say this is the best property we’ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. Great location just a 5-10 minute walk to the town, harbour and lovely walks. Large totally secure garden for our dog. The kitchen was brilliant containing absolutely everything you could wish for. The hosts were extremely accommodating. Thanks very much we will definitely be returning later this year.

Everything was 10/10 - communication, location, cleanliness, space and garden. The house is very well appointed, everything you need and more. The furniture and decor were exceptional. Having 2 ensuites and a main bathroom was great for our family holiday reunion. Parking was convenient and even my husband and I in our 70's could walk to the harbour. The grandkids enjoyed the backyard and the weather was superb and we had afternoon drinks on the patio. The extra supplies (including scones, jam and clotted cream) were a real treat also. Your house was beautiful, Jeremy. If we're closer than Australia we would stay again.

Lovely well equipped bungalow with every reasonable need provided for and a very nice welcome pack and vase of flowers. The bungalow is well positioned for walking into Padstow. The accommodation also has a nice secluded garden which was nice for us and our dog.

Absolutely loved our stay in your beautiful bungalow. The accommodation layout was perfect for us, with large open plan living, spacious bedrooms and en-suites/bathroom allowing teens (and us) our own privacy. Owners have thought of all the little extras that make the stay easy - coffee pods, logs, oil & spices, washing liquid etc…. . It really was home from home. This was our second visit to this lovely property which is within easy walking distance to Padstow harbour for a great choice of pubs and restaurants. The garden is nice to relax in after a busy day and have a bbq if the weather permits. The property is a great base to explore Cornwall from and is ideal for couples or families. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great week away in what felt like a home-from-home. Everything has been thought of at this property and finished to an high standard - it made our stay so comfortable. We had our Labrador with us and felt very safe with him in the dog-friendly garden. The location is absolutely perfect as well. We had some typical Cornish weather with quite abrupt rain showers so being able to dash out and back to the harbour, bars & restaurants so easily was a blessing! Beautiful house, really tastefully decorated and with everything you could want for a relaxed holiday. It was spotless and a lovely welcome pack awaited us on our arrival.Really well equipped kitchen, and lots of books and a few games meant you felt like you were staying in a home away from home. Perfect for a weeks get away with my older parents, 8 year old son and lab. Great location just a few minutes walk to the town (via a little cut through at the end of the road opposite). We have already recommended it and will definitely look to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great place

Very well appointed property. Recently refurbished (as at August 2024) and I really couldn’t fault the interior decoration, facilities, overall interior design. It’s in a slightly out of town location but only a short walk to the centre via footpaths, good to be away from the crowds actually. Happy to recommend.

The owners are a couple (Jeremy & Zarina) who have bought 21 Rainyfields as their holiday home. Having holidayed in Padstow for over 15 years they have a wealth of knowledge about walking, surfing, eating and drinking. Nothing is too much trouble and they love pets to visit and have many great dog walking routes to share. They previously owned and managed a holiday let in Mortehoe for 5 years which received 102 5 star reviews.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Padstow has everything, 7 beaches within an 8-15 minute drive, the harbour is only a 7 minute walk and has amazing choice of top class restaurants from Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. There is also a fabulous selection of cafes, bakeries, pubs and shops. Wadebridge is a 15 minute drive away with its artisan and local shops, supermarkets and cinema.

21 Rainyfields is in a quiet residential area of Padstow but only 7 minutes walk to the centre. This is our house which we live in when it is not let out and is equipt to a high standard as we love to cook both indoors and out.
