This beautifully refurbished (August 2023) detached bungalow offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set in a quiet residential area just a 7-minute walk from Padstow Harbour. Ideal for families and couples, the property is pet friendly and features a fully enclosed garden with plenty of lawn space for children and dogs to enjoy.
Accommodation includes:
A king-size bedroom with en-suite
A double bedroom with en-suite
A twin bedroom adjacent to the main bathroom
The home has been fully modernized over the past 14 months to create a bright, open-plan living space with a sociable, airy layout. It’s both energy-efficient and comfortable year-round, thanks to underfloor heating via air source heat pump, a wood burner, improved insulation, and solar panels with battery storage. Hot water is supplied by PV solar, backed up by the heat pump.

Fantastic property, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Ideal position to go to Padstow harbour as well, all though it was a lot steeper than we realised to get down and back! Great place to stay, quite central to other attractions in Cornwall as well. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay in your beautiful bungalow. The accommodation layout was perfect for us, with large open plan living, spacious bedrooms and en-suites/bathroom allowing teens (and us) our own privacy. Owners have thought of all the little extras that make the stay easy - coffee pods, logs, oil & spices, washing liquid etc…. . It really was home from home. We had a great week away in what felt like a home-from-home. Everything has been thought of at this property and finished to an high standard - it made our stay so comfortable. We had our Labrador with us and felt very safe with him in the dog-friendly garden. The location is absolutely perfect as well. We had some typical Cornish weather with quite abrupt rain showers so being able to dash out and back to the harbour, bars & restaurants so easily was a blessing! Thank you to the amazing hosts for such easy communication and for the very generous welcome hamper

Beautiful house, really tastefully decorated and with everything you could want for a relaxed holiday. It was spotless and a lovely welcome pack awaited us on our arrival.Really well equipped kitchen, and lots of books and a few games meant you felt like you were staying in a home away from home. Perfect for a weeks get away with my older parents, 8 year old son and lab. Great location just a few minutes walk to the town (via a little cut through at the end of the road opposite). We have already recommended it and will definitely look to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great place

Very well appointed property. Recently refurbished (as at August 2024) and I really couldn’t fault the interior decoration, facilities, overall interior design. It’s in a slightly out of town location but only a short walk to the centre via footpaths, good to be away from the crowds actually. Happy to recommend.

Excellent property in the perfect location

The property has everything you could possibly need in a holiday home and it is beautifully decorated. It is 5 minutes walk from Padstow Harbour and just a short drive from some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Jeremy greeted us very warmly even though we were early, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this beautifully holiday home.

Beautiful bungalow close to Padstow

The property is newly refurbished and is very nicely presented. Its location 5 min walk from Padstow harbour is ideal. Parking space wasn't a problem for our big estate car. Garden nice for a BBQ on sunny days. Short drive to nearby Tesco. Would recommend.

What a lovely house to stay in for our holiday. Nothing could have been better (apart from the weather)! It was so well equipped and immaculately clean. Beautiful house walking distance to Padstow

We had a fabulous week staying in this gorgeous home. The property has been beautifully designed with all modern conveniences provided . The beds were really comfortable with luxury bed linen . We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and sitting out in the garden. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very easy to Communicate with and the check in process was simple. There were some lovely touches like fresh flowers in vases and a welcome pack of cookies and drinks . We would definitely recommend this property .

Beautiful home, lovely stay!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location is perfect, quiet but 2 min walk to beach, 5 min drive to tesco and local farm shops. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is adequately equipped. EV charging was an added plus. Enclosed back garden was ideal for pets :] Jeremy was friendly and helpful, and quick to reply to our queries.

All the family loved the place, really couldn't fault it on anything, the attention to details was amazing, it truly was a home away from home. The bungalow is in a nice and quiet neighbourhood which was only minutes walk from Padstow Town centre so that was an extra bonus for us. Our host, Jeremy was super helpful and attentive, when my son lost his mobile, he found it and had it posted the next day. Will definitely come back again.

Loved our stay in this beautifully decorated property. Spotlessly clean. Fully equipped with everything we could need for a relaxing, ‘home from home’ break. Very good communication from the host. Great location - a short walk down into Padstow. Also a lovely walk if you head towards the church, past Prideaux Place, over fields that overlook coast and head down to Hawkers Cove - great for walking our dog! We also enjoyed cycling the Camel Trail from Padstow. A short drive to many fantastic beaches such as Harlyn Bay, Constantine & Treyarnon. Brilliant for our kids who enjoyed bodyboarding and the natural sea pools. We enjoyed sunset at Harlyn Bay with pizzas from The Beach Box cafe. Other family friendly places to eat in Padstow that we enjoyed are The Harbour Inn, Pucelli’s Italian restaurant and Reggie’s street food.

The owners are a couple (Jeremy & Zarina) who have bought 21 Rainyfields as their holiday home. Having holidayed in Padstow for over 15 years they have a wealth of knowledge about walking, surfing, eating and drinking. Nothing is too much trouble and they love pets to visit and have many great dog walking routes to share. They previously owned and managed a holiday let in Mortehoe for 5 years which received 102 5 star reviews.

Padstow has everything, 7 beaches within an 8-15 minute drive, the harbour is only a 7 minute walk and has amazing choice of top class restaurants from Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. There is also a fabulous selection of cafes, bakeries, pubs and shops. Wadebridge is a 15 minute drive away with its artisan and local shops, supermarkets and cinema.
