We are very pleased to respond to this review. First of all, we would like to point out that our rating across all platforms is 9/10. Let’s start by saying that the apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. What does it mean that “the sofa is not as big as it looks in the pictures”? The sofa is the same one shown in the photos — we certainly did not use one sofa for the pictures and then replace it afterwards, haha. All the linens are brand new and made of 100% cotton. The location is excellent, with a covered parking space directly underneath the apartment. The location and distances are also clearly visible on Google Maps. The apartment is only 5 minutes from the escalators that take you directly into the city center, and from there another 5 to maximum 10 minutes at a slow walking pace to reach Piazza del Campo. As you yourselves mentioned, if you are around 70 years old and walk extremely slowly, unfortunately we cannot calculate walking times based on that. At an average pace, those are the correct timings. In Siena, walking for 30 minutes would practically take you across the entire city. We cannot realistically write “if you are elderly and walk extremely slowly, it will take 30 minutes.” One small funny detail: you accidentally confused the salt with sugar and asked us why there was salt there, even though it was clearly labeled and visible as salt. We always do our best to accommodate our guests and remain fully available throughout their stay. However, situations like using salt instead of sugar do make things a little difficult for us to understand.
