The property has a mooring and is a short distance from Caffa Mill Car and Dinghy Park and a level five minute walk from the town centre.

Ferryman's Cottage has been tastefully refurbished and modernised and offers quality family accommodation with wonderful views. From the cottage two levels of patio/decking view directly across to the Bodinnick Ferry and Daphne du Maurier's original home in Fowey, Ferryside. On the lower ground floor you enter the Cornish slate built cellars of the former "Sailors Return" an eighteenth century pub but now delightfully converted. The dining room, with beamed ceiling, leads onto the terrace, low beams in the kitchen area - beware tall cooks!, with charcoal barbecue and excellent river views. It has steps down to the Passage Street Slipway. The kitchen is also on this floor and this is superbly equipped with a range of fitted units, gas cooker, washing and drying machine and dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.

On the first floor are two double bedrooms, one of which has a bay window with lovely views, and a bathroom/wc with a shower over the bath. The second floor has two further bedrooms, one with river views and double bed; the other a single bed and full sized bunk beds.
