Couldn’t ask for a better stay. The location was perfect for our family as we were able to walk everywhere. Our host was very accommodating to our flight changes, we didn’t have any issues with the accommodation, but if we did, I’m sure our host would have been more than helpful.

Comfortable flat, great location

My daughter and I spent five nights in the flat and enjoyed its space and great location. The rooms were comfortably and attractively furnished and very clean. We walked everywhere but public transportation was readily available. I would stay there again.

Great stay!

We enjoyed the stay very much. The apartment was comfortable and wonderfully located. We often walked to Covent Garden and spent a day right around the corner at the British History Museum. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome location and stay

Great apartment for family of four with 2 kids — 10 & under. Location was very walkable to Westminster and central London, amazing food choices, close to British museum (if only we had tickets!). Would stay again!

Great location so close everything we wanted to see and do. The flat is exactly as shown in the photos. This allowed us to have a very nice first trip to London.

Lovely Apartment

It is a very large and beautifully decorated basement apartment. Noise from traffic and outside. But, you are in a large city and that’s to be expected. Good restaurants and pubs close by. Easy walk to West End theatres. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean, easy to access. Three of us stayed here: two in the bed and one on the pull-out couch. Accessed bus and underground easily.

Wonderful location

Lovely apartment but windows & sills need to be better maintained & screens installed to prevent urban grime from coming in. Mattresses should be upgraded in both sofa sleeper & queen size bed.Pluses are location, kitchen, patio & lovely bathroom. There are substantial & elegant cabinets & shelving in the home but basics as noted above are important improvements that should be made in such a lovely property at this price point.We enjoyed our stay.

Great appartment

We loved the appartment. Large, very comfortable and practical, nicely decorated. Location is excellent, walking distance to theatres, restaurants and shopping, lots of busses, tube stations nearby. It was quiet at all hours, no pubs or loud tourists, just the occasional siren. Highly recommended!!

Nice & centrally located apartment

We had a very nice stay in this large, well furnished & centrally located apartment. Apartment was as shown by the pictures. It was spotless clean with a well equipped kitchen & lots of storage space. Street noise was not at all problem in the sleeping room with double glasses - we splept perfectly.

Comfortable Flat, Great Neighborhood

This is a very charming flat. We had everything we needed and the neighborhood is convenient to everything. Being from the USA we weren’t familiar with the keybox system and struggled a bit with it. The host answered all our questions promptly. Two thumbs up!!

As far as location it is excellent!!! BUT there were a few issues. 1) the listing specifically stated that the unit has a dryer. It does not!! We had planned the trip so as to do laundry and there is not dryer. Upon reaching out to the host who replied very quickly, stated that they had a drying rack which is not a dryer. 2) there is not grill on the property.3) they supplied a Bosch coffee maker but no pods. Went to four stores to find the pods but no one carried them. This is probably the reason there were a whole bunch of open instant coffee packages in the cabinet. We were on the road for 5 weeks and stayed at 16 VRBO's and this was the worst supplied stay of all of them. But the location is excellent.

I feel I have to respond to Carleton’s review. I had no issue with Carleton and his partnerthey were good guests. But when he wrote to me with the issues I did tell him to look at the amenities again. It specifically states a clothes drying rack, NOT an electric tumble dryer. Not quite sure how I could’ve made this any clearer. Secondly, I don’t provide the pods because they are fairly pricey and no matter how many pods I put in the property I would be continually replacing them. The Property is priced accordingly and if I was to charge the price of a five star hotel for this property, then I would supply the pods. However, they are readily available and I did tell Carlton where to find them. And he is right there is a selection of coffees and teas in the property. Also, there is a grill at the property so I don’t even know what that means. I do understand how frustrating it must’ve been to find that There was no dryer when you expected there to be one but honestly, it does say that in the description. On the whole, I would rent to him again hopefully if he takes the time to look at the description, he will see that the dryer was not included.

Beautiful and Comfortable!

My daughter and I stayed here for a week and loved it. It's furnished just like the pictures but it’s bigger than it looks. Bed is very comfortable, sofa bed it’s useful and the kitchen is big and fully stocked. It was very easy to check-in & Out and easy to communicate with owner. The property is walking distance to Chinatown and many good restaurants. It’s close to tube station and easy to get around all over london. We would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Location and Space

The location was perfect for us, as it was easy to make our way around London. The home felt safe and secure and didn’t find it too noisy at night. Having the door for the living room served well for creating personal space for our adult daughter so it was like having 2 bedrooms. Communication was prompt and the flat was easily accessible and clean. Would love some higher quality toiletries but everything else that was perfect wouldn’t allow for a deduction in ratings. Would be happy to return.

Great Location; As described

The location of this property - a short block from the British Museum - is ideal for exploring those parts of London most often visited by tourists. The property itself is large, and yes, is in a basement. You do hear noise from the street during the day and early evening, but nothing to interrupt a night's sleep (there are no pubs in the immediate vicinity). It was very clean and when we did have an issue, the property manager responded quickly and was on it. No complaints.

So perfect for us!

We came to London for our first time during the last week of May. We had no idea how walkable the city was, and we felt like the location we were in couldn't have been better. We walked everywhere, but a couple of times we did take the train, and the station was so close and easy to use The flat is decorated so cute, we had all the amenities we needed, and the furniture was so comfortable, including the sofa bed! The neighborhood was quiet, so we always slept well, but there were many cute places to have coffee or get groceries nearby. Also, Our host was so quick to answer our questions, and we so appreciated the early check-in we were able to get that day. All in all, we can't recommend this beautiful flat more, and we hope to be back!

Excellent location

We enjoyed the location tremendously. We were there for 8 nights.The place was clean. All appliances that we used are in excellent condition. If you expect to cook, you’ll have everything needed in terms of utensils and so on. There is very little extra in the kitchen as for spices, and so on. The mattress for the sofa bed in the living room needs to be replaced. It’s lumpy. I was tired enough to sleep from exploring London, but it leaves a lot to desired. The place is quiet, even with a neighbor above. We did hear a few sirens. They did seem to stop during the night, though.
