Oceanview stunning view of ocean, 5 Bedroom, 3.5 bath

"Ocean View" is a privately owned, 1600 square foot, two story on stilts, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bath vacation home with both lake and ocean views.Our vacation home features a large, open, vaulted ceiling, great room complete with fully-equipped kitchen located on the second floor with great lake and ocean views, perfect for that family vacation.  Enjoy the breakfast nook overlooking the lake and ocean or step outside to the spacious deck, where additional outdoor seating is available.  The upper deck is accessible from either the great room or master bedroom located on the second floor.  Downstairs are three bedrooms with queen sleeping and a fourth kid's room with a two bunk beds.  Cable television is provided in all bedrooms and the great room.  A second, large accessible deck is open downstairs with beautiful views to relax to without traveling upstairs.  Two baths are also located downstairs for no waiting, hot showers.  A washer/dryer is available in one of the downstairs bathrooms for those wet towels and bathing suits.  Underneath the beach house you'll find a relaxing swing, picnic table and both charcoal and gas grills and an outdoor hot/cold shower to wash away that beach sand and enjoy the outdoor living space.   All of this located on a wide, private lane with beautiful live oak trees to provide a safe, peaceful atmosphere, but very close to all of Ocean Lake's wonderful amenities and beach.

We absolutely love this vacation rental. Great location, great rental home, great events to do for the family on-site. Walking distance to beach and pool! Propane ran out and host reimbursed me immediately after getting them refilled. The only thing we would recommend is a wifi booster for tv outside. We spent a ton of time outside and the tv was going in and out. Also additional outlets outside downstairs. We will be back next year. For my family 3rd year in a row!

Closer to the beach than I thought!

We were here for spring break & softball from NY. The house was exactly perfect for us right next to a small lake where you can catch & release all your fish(I caught a flounder). Very short walk to the beach(very clean)we spent quite a bit of time there. Walmart is right outside the gate for easy access to any grocery items needed. Loved the balcony where I had my coffee every morning. Ample supply of beach chairs as well as cornhole boards in the little garage. Would definitely recommend renting a golf cart for your stay…even if only to participate in the golf cart parade nightly! Had everything we needed, host was quick to respond & we would definitely stay here again if back in Myrtle Beach!

Great family Thanksgiving trip

My family spent Thanksgiving week at this beautiful location. The beach was literally a very small walk away. The lake and ducks occupied our time watching. The house was great and but where we spent majority of our time was outside under the home where there was a fire pit and tv outside. Both propane tanks were completely empty so we did have to get both replaced which was an unexpected expense.other than that the house was perfect for my family. They also had a baby seat where my son could eat at the table with us.Everyone had enough room and we enjoyed our stay at this house. Would recommend the home to friends and would also return in the future.

Picture isn’t worth a thousand words

It started off rough. The floors weren’t clean. Only 3 of 6 tv’s could be used because either the cable didn’t work, remotes didn’t work or even have a remote in rooms, or the internet sucked and couldn’t connect to WiFi. The grill was out of propane. The table under carport w the fire pit in it didn’t work. Electrical outlet on upper porch didn’t have a cover over it and still had the ground part of extension cord still in it. The couch upstairs sucked and had to put pillows under it to make comfortable. The comforters didn’t look clean so we just covered up with flat sheet and went to buy a thin blanket. More than I care to remember. Needless to say, I will not book at that house again.

Weekend at the Beach

We had a great experience at this property. Everything was just as it was listed. The property manager was great and very responsive, in spite of the fact that we had to call and wake him up twice. We would definitely stay here again.

Been coming to Ocean lake since 2014

This property was good, however wasn't one of our favorites! We have been staying at different rentals since 2014 and were accused of smoking in one of their rooms, which didn't happen! We stored our ashtrays in one room when not in use because we had a storm, rain and winds the first few days there and didn't want them blowing away that is why we brought the ashtrays inside in the first place. Also said we broke a door stop. This is the only time in 8 years we've ever had someone complain about the condition we left the house. I am astonished at the accusation made against us as we always try to leave the house better than when we arrived.

Great house and location... few extra costs.

We enjoyed the house and location in Ocean Lakes. We walked to the beach numerous days and my teens visited the recreation center. The house was very nice and clean. My only complaints are that linens were not included and not listed as needed in the property description. We had already left our house for another destination when we found this out so we were scrambling to find sheets and towels without having to purchase everything. Additionally we were not aware that there was a $12/night parking fee for each vehicle associated with the campgrounds. I just wish I had known that information ahead of time. Other than that we still enjoyed the property and would stay here again! Chris was very responsive and helpful.

Why they chose this property

Our house has a wonderful location at Ocean Lakes. It is one of very few homes that offers Lake and Ocean Views. Located on beautiful Magnolia Lake which is the largest lake at Ocean Lakes. Most people don't realize at Ocean Lakes it is all about the location. This property is in the "laid back" section of Ocean Lakes. Everyone knows this section offers renters the largest lots, and least traffic. The house offers all the amenities that a traveler would want including outdoor grills, terrific views, and great neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Ocean View is located close to everything. The house has ocean and lake views. The property is within walking distance of ocean (300 yards), and waterpark( 200 yards). It also features a reverse floor plan which offers travelers vaulted ceilings in kitchen and living area.
