Welcome to a recently completely renovated nice and sunny accommodation in a quiet residential area close to much of Strömstad's varied range of activities. The cottage's generous terrace areas in both sun and shade locations have wonderful sea views while the back of the cottage turns into soothing pine forest with birdsong, from here a nature trail leads into hiking-friendly forest environment. From the cottage it is walking distance to several nice beaches where salty baths and crab angling await. Strömstad golf course is very close, next to the golf course is Strömstads SPA with their entire range of activities, swimming, bar and restaurant. If you want a moment of nature experience, it is also close to Nötholmen's nature reserve with its nice hiking trails, running paths, beaches and at the top of the island there is a barbecue hut where you can hike, grill and watch the sun go down in the northwest. From the area you can easily continue into the central parts of Strömstad via a cable ferry that goes over the salty waters of Bojarkilen. The cottage is beautifully situated on a slope and is built as an underground house with generous terrace areas on both the first and second floors. From the entrance you come one in a welcoming hall, on this floor are all four bedrooms of the cottage, three bedrooms have a double bed and one with a single bed, bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and washing machine. From the hall, a staircase leads up to the second floor where you are greeted by an open kitchen with stove, separate oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and a large living room with generous living areas equipped with kitchen furniture, sofa, armchairs and TV. From the kitchen and living room you come further out to the terracearea, here are opportunities for both sun and shade and to enjoy delicious meals from barbecue or perhaps from Strömstad's range of fresh seafood while discussing today's adventures or planning for tomorrow. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, nice shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. From the villa you walk, take the city bus to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing places which there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat trips from the harbor in the center out to several archipelago islands such as Archipelago Islands. Furholmen or the Koster Islands but also to neighbouring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own explorations.
