This ground-floor apartment sleeps 4 people and makes a great holiday base all year round. Sestriere offers some of the best skiing in the Italian Alps, but there is plenty to do in the spring and summer months.

In an attractive modern complex, the apartment has a living room with two sofas, a book library and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen/dining area is furnished with a table for 4 and the kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, raclette and fridge/freezer.

Bedroom: The stylish master bedroom has a double bed, extensive wardrobes and a dressing table.
Extra: The sofas in the living room convert into two single beds.

The attractive tiled bathroom has a full bath with shower, basin, bidet, WC and storage space.

Location
The apartment is on the edge of the resort of Sestriere in a quiet position. It is close to the ski slopes and lifts making it an ideal winter base.

Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer all year round. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.

There is a huge range of activities for summer visitors; varied mountain biking routes, as well as tennis, rafting, golf, horse riding and swimming. The activity centre offers stunt biking, skateboarding, roller skating and much more. For something more relaxing, try Le Sorgenti del Mendia spa (20 minutes drive) in Pragelato.

The area also holds many festivals and events for all ages throughout the year, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings.

There are many great restaurants and bars which will suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Turin airport is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the apartment.
