About Gerald Lynn
We are from Geneva and have lived here for most of our adult lives. We live two doors from the rental and are available should anything be needed.
Gerald Lynn purchased this House in 1998
Why Gerald Lynn chose Geneva
The property is fairly large with plenty of room for outdoor activities. The house was built in 2002 and has all the features needed for a year-round house.

Lovely Lake House
This is a very cozy, comfortable house on the eastern shores of Seneca Lake. It is on a remote and quiet road . The view out onto the lake from the deck is spectacular. There is a fabulous two person swing on the deck that was very relaxing to swing on and watch the stars at night. We enjoyed the dock and beach area- swimming and fishing. The canoe and kayaks were a lot of fun to use also. The pictures of don't do justice to the layout of the house. We had five adults and had plenty of room for everyone. We were close to multiple breweries and wineries in the area. The house is close enough to the Del Lago casino that we enjoyed a visit there too. There are many nearby state parks to go hiking in. Thanks to Penny and Jerry we had a wonderful family vacation with our adult boys.
Our family had a wonderful vacation stay in this beautiful home. We appreciated the opportunity to rent this house from owners Jerry and Penny Lynn, who are very gracious hosts. The home is located down a very quiet private road, right on Seneca Lake. The house is immaculate, well stocked and it has anything that you could possibly need for a relaxing stay.
It offers a walkout basement with a nice deck to view the amazing sunsets from, and it has an awesome dock. We brought our boat and we were able to utilize the covered electric boat hoist to keep our boat in. Jerry even lubed up the hoist in anticipation of our visit. Jerry and Penny made us feel right at home and we had the use of the canoe, a couple of kayaks, and a bunch of water toys and fishing poles.
We enjoyed swimming off the dock and shore, boating on the crystal clear lake, went to dinner by boat and took advantage of the docks in Geneva to access the stores there. On a windy day, the Seneca-Cayuga canal offered a beautiful cruise through the locks with abundant wildlife along the shoreline and some restaurants to visit by boat in Seneca Falls. Thank you for a great stay!
Our new favorite lake house
We loved everything about this rental. Jerry and Penny are so helpful and kind. The lake is clean and surprisingly quiet. The house is super clean and has everything you need. Location is close to town, and wegmans is only a 13 min drive. We had a fantastic week boating, kayaking and swimming! Highly recommend.
We had a lovely time staying at Jerry and Penny's house. It was clean, well maintained / stocked, and most of all right on the lake. I would recommend staying at this house.
Picture perfect vacation
The Finger Lakes is a wonderful place to vacation. We had a perfect weather week (hot, but sunny) and the home and spot were great for us. There were 2 couples and myself and we thoroughly enjoyed the lake activities, the to-die-for sunsets, nighttime s’mores making at the fire pit, winery visits, a boat cruise, great cheeses and restaurant visits, even a night at the Smith Opera House. We couldn’t do it all in a week and plan to be back. So relaxing. The home is even nicer and larger than it looks in the pics, and the Lynn’s are terrific, very responsive hosts who live two doors down if you need them. What’s not to love?
Great location on Seneca Lake
Could not have been happier with our week stay here on Seneca Lake. Property owners were just a few doors down, and we could call them at any time. Thank you Penny & Jerry for the experience — something we will treasure. We hope to return!
The only glitch was on my part... checkout is at 10 am, not 11 as I had originally thought.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Finger Lakes that’s close to the big attractions, check out this property. You will need water shoes if you venture into the lake and the lake does take some time warming up (during our stay the water went from 65-70 degrees). The sunsets were amazing! And there is access to kayak/canoes.
Our family of 5 (with one special needs child) fit comfortably in the space provided. We had an excellent time. Made it hard to go back home.
The Finger Lakes region has many state parks, art festivals, wine trails, breweries and historic sites. There are all types of water activities as we are in the heart of a beautiful lake region. Lake cruises are a popular activity. Restaurants are in abundance and shopping is great at the nearby outlet mall or in the larger cities of Rochester and Syracuse. We have a rural atmosphere with the advantage of nearby city activities.
