We stayed with our family of five. It was a short two night stay but the check in and out were easy. Accommodations were good. We would stay again.

Long weekend for The Lap
A great location and property, although there is a water leak in the kitchen ceiling when it rains, which looks as though it has been ongoing for a while.

Summer break, Grandkids and dogs !
Had a great short break which was enjoyed by all. Tired grandkids and dogs each day as we enjoyed walks on the Estate. This is our 4th visit back to the Graythwaite Estate (each time we’ve stayed in a different property ) and we will return again.
Cottage worked well for us, although it was a squeeze in the kitchen when we all sat down to eat. I think had we been 6 adults this would have been very uncomfortable.
Access to the swimming pool was an added bonus as on our last visit this was out of action.
Great memories made !

Great place to stay, shame about the wifi
We stayed for a week and had a great time. The pool is excellent, the location is great, the staff were lovely but we will probably not be coming back because we get no mobile signal at the property whatsoever and the wifi kept cutting out after about 5 mins or so. It made it really hard to take check my work emails during the week and plan any trips and our teen was not happy. Shame. Great place otherwise. We might try one of the other properties as the mobile signal was ok anywhere outwith the group of properties.

Family get together
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bibby Lot. The cottage was well furnished with good quality items and had everything we needed. The large living room was great for bringing the wider group together.
We did think the games room could do with some investment as the games were in a very poor condition. We enjoyed the pool but it could have been a bit cleaner - quite a few hairs in the water and bits of rubbish in changing area.
Overall though it was a great venue for our family get together. The outdoor seating and BBQs were well used.

Needs updating and attention to detail as this is not a cheap holiday
Needs an upgrade in the bathroom with a better shower, pressure was awful and extractor fan wasn’t working. Mould on shower screen.
Kitchen very nice and well equipped. Living area needed the sofas cleaning.
The bedrooms are very small for 6 adults sharing. Ideal for children not all adults. Beds uncomfortable and creaky. The location was great as had a family wedding at a nearby venue.

Lovely cottage but slightly small for 6
A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.
The cottage had everything we needed however the kitchen was slightly too small for a party of 6 but with a generous size lounge for us all to sit in comfort along with seating out the front in the court yard to enjoy the sunshine and watch the birds nesting. I would suggest that the bathroom, whilst adequate could do with a refurb to match the lovely new kitchen. And maybe the smaller odd shape bedroom made with bunkbeds as shown in some photos as no possibility of using a bedside table in current layout.
Also to warn - no wardrobe space in either of the twin rooms which wasn’t an issue for us as we were there for a short weekend and kept everything in our bags.
I would definitely stay at the Graythwaite estate again but maybe not this particular property if with a party of 6 again.

An enjoyable stay
We haven't been for 10 years, we use to come every year sometimes twice a year.
Stunning location
When we first came it had all mod cons and a wow factor, now a little tired in parts. We could never find the shop open.We never meet anyone so cant really give an honest reply to customer service. Our front door badly jammed, you had to really slam it hard to it close - again tried to report it, but shop closed and only saw the cleaners who we mentioned it to.
Very much like the idea of booking a swimming slot
Didn't like or need the extra fridge/freezer in the lobby area need that for coats and gear.
Had to pull the table out to sit round for meals and that meant that you couldn't get passed
It was not very warm in the house at times. If you went out when would came back you had to but the timed radiators back on and they never warmed the house fully
Very well stocked kitchen and appreciated stuff left for guests
Lounge was a good size - would the dinning table and chairs fit better there and make more room in the kitchen
Certain we would not stay in that particular cottage again - rather Homestead or Bullpen
If I was to be honest ,slightly disappointed having remembered what it use to be like.
Will come again though and thanks
