Tandarra is a single-storey property consisting of a kitchen equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge, a utility with a freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a living/dining room with seating for six guests and a Smart TV and a sitting room with woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) with sofa and TV, a king-size with en-suite shower room and a king-size, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.3 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.5 miles, a pub and within 1 mile, Derwentwater and please note that two well-behaved dogs are welcome (at an additional charge) but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Tandarra is a charming base for your next getaway in Cumbria. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am.

The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
