Independent house with character, pleasantly located, 3 mins walk from the center of Carteret and the marina, 1 km from a beautiful sandy beach with lifeguard. A very quiet private enclosed garden facing south offers a splendid view of a park and pond that borders it. Departure for the Channel Islands 1 km away.
Many activities will be offered around:
sailing school (300m), canoeing and kayaking (1km), cape de Carteret with its exceptional site for hiking, Mont Saint Michel (UNESCO) (90km), landing beaches (D. Day) (45km ), the island of Tatihou listed as World Heritage by UNESCO (50km), visit the botanical garden of Vauville with its many exotic plants, the house of Jacques Prévert (Museum) in Omonville la Petite at 25km, Port Racine, the smallest port in France in Saint-Germain-des-Vaux, the famous Coutances Cathedral (13th century) 50km,

Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Sommerurlaub mit unserem beiden Kindern in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Es es ist ein sehr gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes Haus mit einem schönen großen Garten. Auch die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. In den Sommermonaten findet einmal die Woche ein toller Wochenmarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe statt. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war ebenfalls sehr nett. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Haus. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man brauch und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen so das man zu Fuß bequem den Hafen, den Strand, einen Bäcker, einige Geschäfte und Restaurants erreichen kann. Auch für Ausflüge mit dem Auto ist der Standort zu empfehlen. Die Kommunikation und der Empfang mit der Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es fehlte uns an nichts und wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Wunderbares Haus mit Garten und Garage in fast zentraler Lage in Carteret!Von außen unverwechselbar und hübsch; innen größer als erwartet. Gute Betten; geschmackvolle Einrichtung, alles da, was der zu Hause kochende oder waschende Urlauber so braucht. Gutes WLAN.Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die sich sicher um jedes Problem gekümmert hätte - hätten wir denn eines gehabt.Die Lage ist ideal nahe zum Strand/Hafen, diversen guten Lokalen und für Wanderungen zu Fuß.Gegenüber der für Festivitäten und Markt (Donnerstags) genutzte Platz plus der stillgelegte Bahnhof, wo man bei Gelegenheit leckeres Essen bekommen kann.Dieses Haus, die Gegend und seine Vermieterin sind eine sehr gute Empfehlung!Merci, Caroline!Stefan und Elke

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans cette charmante maison. L’emplacement est i d e a l — juste en face du terminus avec une aire de jeux géante et manège pour vos enfants / et de quoi prendre l’apéro pour les parents. A 5 min en voiture de la plage la Potinière La maison a un charme fou, elle est très bien équipée (surtout avec un bébé) et le jardin est très calme. Bref nous reviendrons ! Tolles Haus in toller Lage!

Das Haus befindet sich in sehr guter zentraler Lage in Carteret. Die Geschäfte wie Bäcker u.a. sind fußläufig zu erreichen, ebenso der Strand. Das Haus selbst ist äußerst liebevoll gestaltet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Bad bietet viel Stauraum. Dazu gibt es einen schönen, sonnigen Garten, in dem man viel Zeit verbringen kann. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Und eigentlich hätte ich es gerne auch gleich gekauft;-)

une maison ultra fonctionnelle

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Caroline. Fraichement rénovée avec goûts et ultra fonctionnelle cette maison ne nous a pas déçue. Tout l'équipement contemporain est présent et de qualité ce qui est fort appréciable. le parking est aisé soit dans le garage soit sur le parking de l'ancienne gare. Egalement la propreté de la maison à l'entrée était tout a fait exceptionnelle. La maison est également idéale hors saison car elle est isolée et les radiateurs électriques chauffent bien et vite. Par contre attention, le forfait électricité est insuffisant pour couvrir la consommation des radiateurs et un supplément sera à prévoir si vous devez les utiliser.

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut und komplett ausgestattet! Sehr angenehmer und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin. Traumhafte Strände und sehr schöne Wanderwege in der Nähe (Strand und Dünen von Hattainville)

Mitten im Ort und doch nah am Kanal und ca. 10 Min. zu Fuß bis zum Meer.

Das Haus ist sehr schön uns sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir hätten gerne noch mehr den Garten genutzt, aber das ließ das Wetter leider nicht zu. Uns fehlten nur einige Gebrauchsanweisungen für Geräte in deutsch, aber das haben wir direkt dem Gastgeber mitgeteilt. Ich würde das Haus jedem empfehlen.Gegenüber im umgebauten alten Bahnhof des Ortes konnte man an Essen-Trucks essen gehen oder sich Essen mitnehmen. Sehr gut und lecker.

Agréable séjour

Jolie propriété proche du centre de Carteret, lumineuse et agréable, bien équipée. Un seul bémol : peu ou pas de rangements dans les chambres car tout est trop encombré. Ce problème a été signalé et pris en compte par le propriétaire.

Maison parfaite en tous points et très bien située

Excellent contact avec la propriétaire dès nos premiers entretiens. Maison parfaitement décrite, décorée et meublée pour se sentir très à l'aise. Très calme aussi. Tous les ustensiles étaient présents et avons demandé le linge pour nous faciliter l'arrivée. Les lits étaient faits, quel bonheur. Merci encore à notre hôtesse ! Carteret est si typique et discret à la fois que j'invite les gens à revenir le plus souvent et en toutes saisons. Maison très bien située par rapport aux commerces, restaurants et plages. Le jardin derrière est très bien exposé et les balades sont nombreuses au départ de la maison. Ne pas hésiter à se balader vers les dunes ou les plages de Barneville et de Carteret. Hâte de revenir chez vous.
