Facility exactly as described. We were concerned about street parking, but never had a problem. Enjoyed cooking. Found great restaurants in and around Las Palmas. Had issues with Google map directions, as a required turn was not noted. Nice spaces for family to gather. Recommend highly.

Herrliche Urlaubsvilla

Mit 4 Pärchen belegten wir die herrliche, ruhige Villa am Strand. Sie ist mit den 4 Bädern, Sitzecken im Wohnbereich, Esszimmertisch, Sonnenliegen sehr gut für 8 Personen geeignet. Isabel hat uns herzlich empfangen und mit einem Übersetzungstool war die Kommunikation recht einfach. Bei Rückfragen antwortet Isabel sehr schnell und hilfreich.Die Küche ist modern ausgestattet, außer die stumpfen Messersets, die könnten erneuert werden. Küchengeschirr und Gläser sind zahlreich vorhanden. Der Holzkohlegrill ist perfekt. Ein analoges Grillthermometer liegt bereit.Die Doppelbetten sind mit 150 cm relativ schmal und unter einer großen Bettdecke muss gekuschelt werden ;-). Die 2 Einzelbetten mit 70 cm in 1 Zimmer sind gewöhnungsbedürftig; die 1. Nacht ist eine Freundin rausgefallen :-). Allerdings sind alle Matratzen schon etwas durchgelegen. Entgegen früheren Meldungen wird kein benutztes Toilettenpapier in Eimern entsorgt, sondern normal gespült.Der Pool war beheizt und ist zum Schwimmen gut geeignet, aber Vorsicht, der Pool ist bei einer Tiefe bis zu 2 m kein Kleinkinderplanschbecken. Es gibt eine kühle Außendusche.Das Parken war immer in der Einbahnstraße möglich. Gute Restaurants sind fußläufig 25-30 min entfernt. Einkaufen ist in den zahlreichen großen Supermärkten mit PKW am besten zu erledigen. Zur Not liegt ein SPAR in Fußnähe (20 min). Summa summarum, eine tolle Unterkunft, die wir wieder buchen würden.

Splendida location

Abbiamo passato due settimane bellissime la casa è meravigliosa posta anche in un posto strategico per raggiungere tutte le destinazioni in 30 minuti. Spazi ben organizzati camere da letto e bagni molto ampi e super dotati di ogni confort. La consigliamo a tutti e presto ci torneremo. La proprietaria Isabel molto attenta ospitale e gentile.

Playa del Hombre ocean view property.

I stayed in this beautiful ocean front home for a month with family. I chose it, not only because of its incredible views, but because it was centrally located on the island. I knew I needed a rental car to explore the entire island which we did. Isabel was wonderful to work with and very gracious upon our departure. The home is 4 bedrooms, each with a private bath and beautifully decorated, including original art and pottery. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would possibly need. There was a charcoal grill by the pool and a lovely terrace off the lower level. The property is very private and set in a residential area, with a security system. Everything we needed was just a few minutes drive. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice, and it was difficult to leave the fantastic view.

Phantastische Aussicht

Jeder der 4 Doppelzimmer hat ein eigenes, grosszügiges Badezimmer, das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gross und gepflegt, die Aussicht aufs Meer ist phantastisch. Die Küche ist sehr gross. Der Innenhof mit Pool, Lounge und Grill ist sehr schön. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt.

Ett jätte fint hus och perfekt för stor familj. Vi var 13personer. Bra utrustad med allt. Men vill man ha en uppvärmd pool. Bör man säga till i förväg och fråga vad det kostar. En bil behövs för att inhandla mat. Utsikten över havet var underbar. Jag älskade huset. Vi trivdes. Bra promenad väg längs stranden var ett pluss

Amazing Property and Beach Location but not Easily Accessible

Firstly, the property pictures are exactly as it is, it is in am amazing location perfectly overlooking the beach and one could not fault it in any way. The villa itself is wonderful with light, airy and spacious rooms. Everything you need is there both inside and outside and you can access the beach in just a short stroll out of the gate. There are quite a few "house rules" such as no sand to be in or outside of the house. This is obviously important but coming up from the beach and making sure you dont still have sand on your feet is a little unrealistic since the tap on the beach is on the beach and you have to walk from it back to the house. We spent a lot of time washing the outside down and sweeping away sand for fear of a fine. The second big rule is the toilet tissue. You aren't allowed to flush it down the toilet at all and are told many times both in person and in writing that there is a 400 euro fine should they find out that it has happened. We found this to be a little tricky and a bit of a frustration to have to keep emptying the bin every day and taking the used tissues outside to empty but had to accept it is the same across the island and they are only trying to preserve water. The property is not close to anything and there are no tourists in this area at all. If i had to pick something that may have made me look at alternatives this would be it. There are no restaurants closeby which is a real shame. There is also no shop and we really struggled to get basic supplies as had to order a taxi daily to go to the main supermarket. It was only around 5 euros in the taxi but would have been lovely to just be able to walk to a shop to get water at least. THere is a coastal path that takes you to Playa Melenares that has a handful of restaurants. They arn't very english orientated so take a translator of some kind for ease of ordering. Also they closed early when we were there and we had to eat out at 2ish daily or get a taxi to Las Palmas (around 30 euros in a cab) The garage is used by the neighbour so if you do have a hire car it would have to go on the street which, from our view was pretty tight on the parking front. The 5th bedroom is not inside the property. Wasn't a problem for us but might be for those with young children. Also no internet in that room and building works outside meant the person in there was woken at 730 daily. Overall had a great stay but would probably choose a different location next time

We had a fantastic time, the property was exactly as advertised. Wonderful view!

The sound of the beach, the view of the sea was breath taking. The property was near the supermarket and restaurants. The beach was like a private beach with very few people at any given time. The property was as advertised, spacious with all the necessary facilities. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and location.

Great stay at a well appointed property

We can recommend this property. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and right on the beach. The house is located in a residential area where we had no disturbances at all. It's a reasonable walk to evening restaurants or a very short hop by car (we recommend a hire car for a stay here). The restaurants we found were very good and catered for residents as well as tourists. Isabel was a fabulous host. Super attentive and exceptionally quick to answer questions or to address any queries. Very efficient and trustworthy. The house exceeded the standards we hoped for, it caters for the upper end of the market - great artwork in the home too as well as fast wifi.

Ein echter Urlaubstraum!

Weit genug weg vom Massentourismus und doch zentral auf der Insel gelegen hat uns Isabel in Ihrer liebevollen Villa empfangen und wir (9Personen) hatten einen wunderbaren und entspannten Aufenthalt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und die unmittelbare Nähe zum Strand ist einmalig!

Prachtige Plek met uitzicht op zee!

Wat een fantastische plek voor een prachtige week vakantie met de hele family! Vanuit de villa zo het strand lopen is geweldig. Men is de buurt wat aan het renoveren. Strand met restaurantjes op 5 autominuten De villa is keurig onderhouden en schoon. Bij dit niveau huis hoort wel een veel betere manier van koffie zetten. Advies is ook om een slang neer te leggen om zelf dagelijks het zand op het terras wat weg te kunnen spoelen. Wij komen zker nogmaals terug

Fantastic property located centrally for getting to all the right places and fantastic views!

Property was very well maintained and wonderful artwork throughout. A fantastic position above the beach (which was the one most of the surfing schools use). Nearby restaurants and great walks along the boardwalk. Definitely have a car as then it's 20 mins to Las Palmas and 35 mins to Maspalamos beaches. Nearby supermarkets and mall. Again, a great place to relax and tan!

Outstanding house the beach

What a beautiful home in a stunning location. The house is above our expectations. Although expensive, really worth. The view is so beautiful and is located right on the beach. Constantly in view of the bay. Everything advertised was present in the house and everything worked perfect. Very large and well decorated. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen Top! The pool and solarium Top! Full of intimacy. Everything you need is in the house. When we had a problem with the DVD player, this was resolved the same day. The owner is very friendly. The pool was heated at our request and had an ideal temperature. The house has two main rooms have access to the pool and another with access to the terrace overlooking the beach. We had a wonderful holiday in a quiet beach in a residential area with neighbors canaries. We recommend this house and this beach.

5 ETOILES POUR LE TEMPS.. En revanche si cette villa est spacieuse ,elle manque considérablement de charme...Elle est prévue pour 10 personnes et sans mettre des fauteuils de jardin à l'intérieur,il est difficile de prendre l’apéritif assis!!!. Nous aurions aimé avoir au moins une chaise par chambre.ça rends service. La piscine est plutôt un petit bassin rempli d'eau avec un fond bleu. L’électroménager est d'un autre temps.Presser des oranges le matin pour 10 est un défi ...La cafetière est du même genre. En réalité tous ces accessoires ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix.En revanche la maison était très propre. Sortir de la maison à pieds n'a que peu d'intérêt.Aucun commerçant , aucun restaurant, et surtout aucune boulangerie pour le matin.Il faut aller au supermarché en voiture. on fait ses courses à Auchan. Dernier détail mais important la plage contrairement a ce que nous avait dit la propriétaire est dangereuse.Il y a déjà eu des accidents.Nous en avons fait l'expérience et heureusement tout s'est bien terminé. Mais nous étions entre amis et les golfs sont très biens et pas loin. Les ballades au centre de l’île sont superbes.

We had an amazing time in a wonderful house. Bathrooms and bedrooms: top! Pool: top. Everything you need is there. It was nice and quiet - perfect to rest up. We stayed for 1 week and the highest temperature was 29°C but there is always a nice cool breeze - so it doesn´t feel that hot. Good restaurants are in walking distance and the taxi drivers are very friendly, helpful and the fare is cheap - we didn´t miss a car. We would suggest to provide dish-washer-tablets and a little bit more toilet paper and tea towels. All in all it was a great holiday. Unforgettable holiday in this house beach

Wonderful home for an unforgettable vacation. The house is very comfortable with an extraordinary situation on the beach. The views are magnificent over the beach and sea. The decor is spectacular with many artworks. The owner is very friendly with great interest in helping us at all. The private pool is very intimate nobody can see it from the street. The access from the house to the beach is direct and very convenient. The house is close to everything in a few minutes by car: supermarkets, restaurants, highway, shopping centers, etc.

A wonderful week in a beautiful house

A very beautiful and comfortable house with a spectacular location overlooking the beach. Very close to beautiful fishing villages with some very nice beaches close that you can visit on a walking tour along the promenade. The house has all the amenities for a beach holiday and golf in a very quiet beach.

Wonderful home on the beach

The house is unique and wonderful sea views are magnificent from the house. It was clean and tidy on arrival and the owner was waiting for us at home and gave us all the information on the functioning of the house and tourist information The house has a beautiful decor with finearts paintings and sculptures. It is very spacious and bright. It has direct descent to the beach from the terrace on the beach and you can go from the private pool to the beach directly. It is a very comfortable house From the lounge we had the most beautiful nights watching the moonrise on the horizon and as light filled the whole house It has all the amenities for a memorable vacation. The bedrooms are spacious and bright with very nice and comfortable bright and spacious bathrooms The kitchen is very large with lots of light and with all amenities Never forget this vacation. We will return to this wonderful home

Das Haus mit "eigener" Bucht

Bei diesem Haus beeindruckt als allererstes der wunderbare Blick aufs Meer! Und das nicht nur von den großen vier Wohnzimmerfenstern aus, sondern auch von zwei Schlafzimmern und dem unteren Wohnzimmer mit Terrasse. Die Bucht auf die man blickt, wird kaum von Badegästen besucht, dafür ist sie bei Wellenreitern beliebt, deren Kunststücke man vom Haus aus beobachten kann. Das einzige was man hört sind die Wellen und vielleicht mal einen Hund in der Nachbarschaft. Überzeugt hat uns auch der kurze Fussweg zum Strand, ohne viele Treppen und ohne Strassenüberquerung, so dass die Kinder auch alleine vom Strand zum Haus gehen und wir sie dabei im Blick haben konnten. Der Sand am Strand ist dunkel und vorne fest - toll zu joggen oder Ballspielen und ideal zum Burgen bauen ;) Es gibt hier keine Steine und auch keine Muscheln und was uns auch erstaunt hat: regelmäßig kommt die Stadtreinigung und sammelt alles auf, was angespült wurde... Wem die Wellen zu hoch sind, kann eine Bucht weiter gehen (5min.zu Fuß), auch Menschenleer und sauber, aber keine Wellen und keine Surfer. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, es gibt viele schöne Ecken, so dass man sich auch mit mehreren im Haus zurückziehen kann. Im Innenhof gibt es einen Pool (der für 50€/Tag auf 27°C beheizt werden kann), Sonnenliegen und einen Grill. Schön am Innenhof ist, man hat den ganzen Tag die Sonne und von außen kann niemand reinschauen. Jedes der Zimmer verfügt auch über ein schönes modernes Bad. Bis auf das wir das Toilettenpapier nicht in das WC werfen durften und einige Duschbrauseköpfe nicht 100% dicht waren, waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Das Putzpersonal kommt einmal die Woche für 4Stunden und wechselt Bettwäsche und alle Handtücher (Strand- und Duschhandtücher). Sehr schön ist auch Weg entlang des Wassers, der direkt am Haus vorbeiführt. Nördlich liegt La Garita (15-20min. Fußweg), wo es einen Supermarkt, Post, Apotheke, Bäcker etc. gibt. Auf den dunklen Steinen neben dem Gehweg sonnen sich die Echsen ;) In südlicher Richtung werden die Klippen steiler und man kommt am Hafen vorbei. Dort, in der Cofradía de Taliarte, gibt es ganz frischen köstlichen Fisch! Für Großeinkäufe kann man zu Mercadona oder zu Alcampo fahren, dazu benötigt man aber ein Auto oder man bestellt sich ein Taxi für 2-3€. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es leider keinen Supermarkt oder Bäcker. Das ist ein Nachteil. Insgesamt sind wir aber sehr zufrieden und froh, so entspannten Urlaub gehabt zu haben!

The decor is unique in that all the pictures are original, renowned painters. The sculptures and murals are beautiful, famous sculptors. Living in the Canaries is a privilege for the weather so soft and wonderful, full of light and sun without being aggressive or pushy because it blows a gentle breeze from the sea and cools the air (the trades). The rains are truly scarce, rare and only lasts a few hours. Winters are truly extraordinary, when in Europe are with those winters so raw, so long and with few hours of sunshine, here we are with a warm temperature, light and sun all day, and bathing on the beach, enjoying the life, good food, wine and champagne canaries extraordinary because the terrain is volcanic, also cheeses are great with national and international awards and all seafood products are fantastic. Near golf course (4 km) and close to everything.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The most valuable of my house is that since the entire front of the beach greatly enjoys sea is changing with each wave, high tide and low tide. I chose to live in this house because its privileged situation in a non-tourist area, very quiet and close to everything: golf, supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, museums, auditorium, theater, downtown, with healthcare and dentists in minutes, etc..
