This was my favorite rental experience of all time—not because it was the most luxurious or the most polished, but because it had an incredible charm. The apartment reminded me of when I lived in France years ago. It felt authentic…real Parisian living: simple, easy to use, and truly comfortable. It had everything I needed, functioned perfectly, and was located in a beautiful neighborhood with excellent metro access that made getting around Paris so easy.What truly made this stay unforgettable was my host, Loredana. She is one of the kindest and friendliest people I’ve ever met in France. Not only did she check in on me and share excellent recommendations for things to do and see, but she also invited me to join her at a museum during the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine. Spending the morning with her, exploring Paris, and practicing my French was an unexpected gift.This wasn’t just a stay in a rental—it was the feeling of being at home and making a new friend. I can’t recommend this apartment and host highly enough, and I would absolutely return.

This is a nice little apartment, but be aware that there is no elevator and you must climb 5 flights of narrow, winding stairs to reach the apartment. So, probably not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. In addition, the bed basically sits on the floor, so again, probably not good for older people. There is also no view, just the other walls of the building. There is no TV if that's important to you (wasn't for me). That being said, the apartment was clean, the A/C worked perfectly, nice good-sized shower, adequate closet space and kitchen area, and the host was wonderful. The neighborhood has a young vibe, so this could be perfect at this price point for younger people. Near the Les Halles area with lots of cafes and shopping. Metro close by.

Lorendena was a wonderful host. Supportive and kind, she was there whenever we needed and we really appreciated it. I even asked if she would be willing to talk with me to improve my French and this led to several evenings of pleasant discussions in local cafés that helped me improve my French considerably.The flat is located close to everything: Metro, restaurants, groceries, shopping. There is a Velib bike stall around the corner, too. One could spend weeks and not know everything about the neighbourhood. Charming 2e Arrondisment. 30 minute walk to Notre Dame, for example.There was air conditioning. Do not go to Paris in the summer without air conditioning. Realize that the flat is small. It has everything one needs for sleeping and washing and cooking. We were there with our 17 year old child. He appreciated having his own bed and "semi-privacy" but the flat is really ideal for a couple or a couple with a small child.Realize that the flat is on the fourth floor with no lift. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. As the weeks progressed we got used to the climb and it was ok but be aware.The beds were comfortable. I missed a comfortable chair for reading or drawing or using the computer. There is no TV but excellent wi-fi.In summary, Lorendena was a wonderful host and we really appreciated her kindness and welcoming spirit.

Great central location

Host is very lovely, informative and helpful. Easy access and directions to coded entry at street level. The apartment is on a wonderful street with all that you need close by. Great coffee and croissants two doors down, small grocery stores and lots of great cafes on street. The stairs are plentiful and it’s not easy to bring up a heavy suitcase, so keep that in mind. If you can’t manage stairs, this space will not work for you. We had no issues with the stairs aside from our luggage on arrival and departure. I had a larger suitcase and I packed too many clothes! Apartment has all that you need for a comfortable stay. It is not fancy, but it’s practical and safe. We enjoyed our trip and it was great to come back to a safe and quiet space at night. If you are a larger person, you may struggle with the toilet room and the smaller day bed, but the bathroom /shower area is separate and has ample space for showering and getting ready. Great value for Paris, especially when you need two beds. Also, it is nice to have a small kitchen space to prepare the occasional breakfast or snack in. Food in Paris is not inexpensive, and this apartment has all the kitchen amenities you will need. I also loved the heated towel/clothing drying rack in the bathroom. Water in Paris has lots of minerals in it, and causes limescale. You can buy bottled water to make tea and coffee or drink if that doesn’t suit you. We were fine with it, took it in as part of the Paris experience!

Paris Apartment Experience

From the start, the property owner —who lives across the hall of this fourth floor WALK UP was communicative and extremely helpful. 8 STARS worth of ideas/directions sent in PDFs, then in-person meet & greet upon arrival with a long chat about the confusing Metro system. It must noted: for folks with knee/hip/etc. issues, this cute little apartment takes legs to enjoy! You have to walk up eight half flights of uneven/slanted sideways at times- steps to enter the apartment. She had kitchen cooking/eating supplies, many lights to angle for reading, etc., umbrellas, hangers, maps. Negatives are the minuscule actual water closet where the toilet is—but the separate shower/sink bathroom was fine! Low to floor double bed (comfy mattress but again for bad legs(?)…and zero view from windows, except three inner walls of others’ apartments—but we appreciated having three windows to open wide for outside air. The apartment is old fashioned and quaint —not fancy! For us it was a cozy final rental for last few days of our visit. Many bakeries, grocery shops & restaurants, metro stops very close!

Fantastic location. Everything you need to see is walkable or via metro. Cafe culture was amazing. Whilst it is a climb of stairs to unit, it was more than worth it. Host was amazing with her local knowledge, help and recommendations.

Cozy and perfect location

We had a great time staying at Loredana ‘s apartment in the deuxième arrondissement. Super clean, comfortable and the location was so convenient to get around Paris. We felt truly welcomed. This was one of best time in Paris, we will definitely book Loredan’s place again.

Small, but excellent

The studio is delightful, especially the three large windows that fill it with light. Comfortable queen bed, and nice small balcony. Location adjacent to a metro stop is a big plus, as is the ten minute walk to rue de Montmartre's dozens of bistros. Caveats: toilet room is so small, a heavyset person will have difficulty sitting down and closing the door. Shower is updated,, but also tight. Overall, we would stay again.

The room itself was ok but for older people, like my wife and I, it is not so comfortable. There was no indication that there were no elevators (and I understand) but the stairs were not very accesible to us (we are in our 80s) and going up and down so many times was actually painful for my wife. We actually forfited the last night due to this and got a hotel closer to the airport. Also the double bed was not confortable for us. But we did survive.

Great location, great host

This was a perfect little studio for my husband and I to have our Paris getaway. Loredana was very responsive and provided information on how to get around and recommended cafes and shops. The neighborhood is perfect - we spent a lot of our time lounging around the local cafes. It is a small place in old Paris and it's a walkup, but the host set our expectations and we loved it!

Das ist gute Lage für Besucher Paris

In diesen Umgebung gibt es viel action. Vor allem, wenn man zur Fuss gern marchiert, hat man Paris erlebend reichlich Kaffees, Restaurants, Bistros, Kneipen usw. Paris sollte man sehen, bestückt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Stay at Loredana's

We had a wonderful stay at Loredana's apartment in Paris. The location was perfect- very close to the Louvre and many lovely restaurants and bars. It was clean and spacious. Check in was very easy and Loredana gave us many recommendations for places near by. Our only complaint was there was some loud construction in the apartment building behind us we think and it started quite early. This wasn't something the host could control. Overall, we had a lovely stay :)

Spacious apartment, close to everything

Wonderful location, close to everything. We were upgraded to a bigger unit by the host in the same building. We love the open space and large windows opening to the street. Very spacious for a group of 3 adults. The host was very nice and allowed us to check-in an hour early. Host also sent a nice recommendation of restaurants nearby. We would stay here again in the future. The apartment is on the 4th floor with narrow, steep and uneven staircases so keep that in mind.
