The bedrooms consist of a double and triple bunk (double below, single above), serviced by a shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden with furniture, as well as off-road parking. Within 1.2 miles, you will find a shop and within 1.3 miles, a pub and please note that one well-behaved dog is welcome (to be kept downstairs) but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bluebird Cottage is a wonderful base for your next getaway in Somerset. Please note there is only use of the small gravel garden directly outside the conservatory to toilet your dog. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times outside as the garden is not enclosed. Town: Castle Cary is a small, attractive country town 12 miles north east of Yeovil and 24 miles south of Bath. It lies on the edge of rolling countryside between the Somerset Levels to the West and the ridgeline of Penselwood to the east, halfway between the Mendip Hills and the Blackmore Vale. The main Paddington to Penzance railway line runs about a mile to the north. The old part of Castle Cary, which is still the town centre and contains buildings like the Market House, the Round House and the old George Inn, runs along the foot of steep, grassy Lodge Hill, below where the castle used to stand. The town is the main centre for a large area of South Somerset, with a wide range of shops and services, and free parking.
