In this instance, the property owner responded promptly to your concerns, visiting the property immediately after being made aware of the issue. The owner took steps to address the odour by removing several items at the property, cleaning the affected areas and carried out an odour-neutralizing process to resolve the issue.
While we understand that you still found the situation unsatisfactory, compensation was agreed upon with the owner and a refund was processed as a goodwill gesture and confirmation of this was sent via email. While we strive to ensure all properties meet high standards, unforeseen issues can occasionally arise, and we aim to resolve them as efficiently and effectively as possible.
