Fairview - the luxury of space

Fairview offers the opportunity to spend your sea holiday in a classic Hermanus house on a very large plot with 180 degree views over Walker Bay. Guests can watch whales while having coffee on the porch! Lovely wooden floors, high ceilings and carefully selected art embody the character and charm of Fairview. The main draw is without a doubt the views from the front porch, the sunny protected courtyard and braai and the sense of endless space.

Fairview can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms. ‘Fairview’ has a large plot surrounded by stone walls and huge lawns for a game of cricket.

The house has a stoep at the front for relaxed barbeques and exceptional views and a sunny courtyard at the back with a large wooden table and umbrella.

You have access to a gas Weber braai and a charcoal Weber braai along with a fire basket in the back yard.

The kitchen has a Smeg gas hob and oven with a range of cooking utensils and a dishwasher for easy washing up.

Netflix is available along with a one large and one small bluetooth speaker.

But best of all, the house is 10-15 mins to town on foot in the world famous cliff paths

More about the bedrooms and bathrooms:

- 1 Main with Queen bed and ensuite bath and basin. Side sea views.
- 2 Seafacing bedroom with queen (no ensuite)
- 3 Courtyard facing bedroom with two singles that can be combined to form a queen (no ensuite).

The seafacing and courtyard rooms share a shower room that also has a basin and toilet and the there is a separate toilet also.

- 4 back bedroom/studio c. 18sqm has a double bed and an ensuite shower/basin with a separate toilet and direct access to the courtyard.

The outside shower has hot water.

The house has suspended oak floors, and so might be a little noisy if kids run around.

The keys are stored in a secure keybox at the back of the house or you will be welcomed by one of the hosts.

Westcliff is close to town, always sunny and right on the famous cliff path.

The cliff path is regularly described as one of the best walks or runs in the world.

The New Harbour is 10mins walk on the cliff paths with great seafood restaurants.

The Old Harbour is equally close in the other direction.

10-15 mins walk to the centre of town, along the most beautiful coastal paths in South Africa. This is by far the best way to get to town and back.

The cliff paths are safe and well patrolled by security guards, so nothing to worry about.

Parking : Plenty of parking space. Everyone just parks outside, within the garden walls and it is very safe.
