Breezy Vista on the Terrace is a cool, contemporary one‑bedroom apartment with a relaxed, traditional feel — the kind of place where guests settle in quickly and feel instantly at ease. Set high on the terrace, the apartment enjoys a constant east‑to‑west sea breeze and offers beautiful views stretching across the Royal Westmoreland area toward Holetown and the West Coast.

Inside, the apartment is thoughtfully laid out for comfort and convenience. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area seat four, and the living room includes a sofa bed for additional guests. The patio opens onto the garden and features a BBQ grill — perfect for easy outdoor meals.

The air‑conditioned bedroom faces the West Coast, while the living areas open toward the breezy East and the prestigious Apes Hill Development. The ensuite bathroom includes a two‑head rainfall shower, modern vanity, and WC, with direct access to a wardrobe, dressing area, and the laundry room with washing machine.

This space works beautifully for solo travellers, couples, or a young family of up to two children. It’s also ideal for long‑term vacationers and remote workers, including those on the Barbados 12‑Month Welcome Stamp Visa. Kelvin is a welcoming host and Breezy Vista is an economical spot to use as a base to travel the island. The apartment was spacious and clean and the outdoor patio was lovely in the evening. We found the mattress a little soft, though many may enjoy that. The AC was powerful, but barely needed with the cool evening winds. Kelvin was communicative and helpful.

We are into our third year hosting with 35 odd reviews in total from many stays, but it is not until people highlight these things that we can pay attention - so thank you! When the majority of our guests leaves us, they are mostly off to the airport, therefore our cleaning team discard of any open grocery packaging left in the fridge or apartment. We are extremely sorry that by the time you had called us, they were well on the way of resetting for the next guest, hence my apologies .. On a positive note; we have managed to replace the broken candle holder with an alternate set, so all is well there. We didn't realize the curtain could blow back that far. Surfers Paradise

We wanted to stay on the northend but all the hotels and B&Bs were out of our budget. That was until we found Kelvin’s clean, safe and super cute home. It was just as described and the photos were correct. We went to a great dinner at the Fish Pot not too far away. Then relaxed watching Netflix on his smart tv the rest of the night. The next morning my husband found a great secret surfing spot! We will be back for sure. Thank you!

I'm so thankful that Cindy & Karl found & choose my place 'Breezy Vista on the Terrace', because they also happened to be host, but on a very much larger scale, they were so kind, thoughtful and respectful, using only what they needed for a night's stay. Their thoughtfulness has made me want to visit their place so i could learn more from them. My only regret is that they didnt leave me details, otherwise I would've linked them in here ... Thank you Cindy & Karl for the reviews and for being such wonderful human beings & guest.

We arrived at the property in the late evening and were met by a very welcoming owner who invited myself and daughter into our chosen accommodation. Nothing can prepare you for the magnificent view we encountered on our first morning !!!! Everything you need is catered for (basically it was home from home) The area is very safe The property is extremely cool with all around fresh breezes keeping temperatures comfortable. Please don’t have any doubts staying here (Kelvin the owner) is extremely helpful and does everything to make your stay comfortable without intruding on your privacy. We will definitely book this little gem again If you are looking for a peaceful holiday with easy access to the west of the island then a stay here is highly recommended Thank you Kelvin you did yourself proud

Yourself and Debbie are by far the most kind and generous people I've had the pleasure to meet in over 60 [combined] stays, and your easy going vibe and attitude to life should be bottled and set as examples ... It was an amazing testament to your characters that on the last day of your vacation, you were determined to spend a large part of it cleaning, because you wanted to leave the apartment just as you found it. That has stuck with me.. But from the gifted present of those scrumptious biscuits 😆 you gifted on your first full day, to all that food your gifted on your last day, the books, travel adapter sockets, the unmaking of the bed and used towels you folded neatly and left for the laundry, the waiting for the mopped floor to dry. Elizabeth & Debbie, it ALL means that I will never forget you both, and you are most welcome to stay again ...😊. I just cannot thank you enough - you are just amazing people. Thanks ...

I’m naturally easy‑going, creative, and quick to laugh, but I take hosting seriously — listening well, preparing carefully, and making sure guests feel genuinely looked after.

My background spans engineering, retail leadership, finance, and real estate development, but what I value most is people and good design. I’ve travelled widely, and those experiences helped shape Breezy Vista into the kind of place I look for when I’m away: calm, comfortable, unfussy, and thoughtfully put together.

The apartment reflects the things I love — natural light, simple comfort, a touch of creativity, and a breezy sense of ease. My goal is to offer a relaxed, well‑prepared base where you can settle in quickly, enjoy the West Coast at your own pace, and feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Although I spent most of my life in the UK, I always knew I’d return to Barbados. For years I visited annually, usually staying on the South Coast, but when it came time to find a home, this West Coast property stood out immediately. Out of ten places I viewed, this was the one I fell in love with — the terraced views, the natural light, the trees, the clean air, and the sense of calm all felt right.

I wanted a home with space to create a separate accommodation for my son, family, and the many friends who promised to visit. The neighbourhood sealed the decision: peaceful, friendly, and close to everything I’d need for day‑to‑day living. Over time, getting to know my like‑minded neighbours became an unexpected bonus.

What I enjoy most about this area is the balance — the breezy elevation, the greenery, the convenience, and the relaxed rhythm of the West Coast. It’s a place that feels good to come home to, and that’s the feeling I’ve tried to build into Breezy Vista on the Terrace.
